Scott still doubts Obama's birth certificate

Luke ScottThe Orioles' Luke Scott still doesn't believe President Barack Obama was born in the United States.

"[President Obama's] birth certificate has yet to be validated," Scott told Sam Mellinger of the Kansas City Star.

Scott, a proud birther, made headlines at the winter meetings when he told Yahoo!'s David Brown he didn't believe the president was born in Hawaii and that he was "hiding something."

Obama, of course, released the "long form" birth certificate so many had asked to see recently. That wasn't good enough for Scott.

"If they can counterfeit $100 bills, I think it's a million times easier to counterfeit a birth certificate, if you ask me," Scott said. "So, all it is, let's just see if it's real. Anybody can produce a document, so let's check it out."

The Orioles, it should be noted, have done their best to distance themselves from Luke's outspoken political beliefs and have asked him not to talk about them on company time, but have also allowed him to exercise his right to free speech.

In more important matters, Scott was 2 for 5 with a three-run homer in the Orioles' 6-5 loss to the Royals on Tuesday. It was his sixth homer of the season.

Scott still doubts Obama's birth certificate

Ees110: how monumentally stupid are you?  To get his name on a ballot he needed to be vetted completely, by organizations with clearly more resources and intelligence than you and your ilk could ever muster.  He was born in Hawaii.  There is nothing fishy about it.  He produced a short-form birth certificate.  He produced a long-form birth certificate.   Two newspapers have his birth announced in them.  At this point if you are still in doubt, you need to do one of two things, 1. end your life because you are clearly to stupid to continue with your charade of an existence or 2. invent a time machine, travel to Hawaii and wait for the future pres to pop out of his mother.

You are wrong! The president is required to be born in the United States. It doesn't matter if your mother or father were born in the U.S.  This requirement only pertains to the president seat, it is not required for running for the senate.  I completely believe Obama was born in Hawaii, but you need to get the facts straight. Unfortunately, this also means that Tim Tebow could never run for President even though he was born to American born parents.

This is not quite correct...  The law that is currently written (OBAMA even participated in this law while still senator...) is that for a person to be a legal President he/she needs to have met the following criteria:

1)  They can be born outside the US as long as BOTH parents are LEGAL American Citizens (so Tim Tebow could run for President!) or be born on a United States Military Base on Foriegn Soil.

2)  If they are born in United States, it is required that BOTH parents must be LEGAL US Citizens for someone to be PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES.  President is the only position in GOVERNMENT that this requirement is VALID.

So even if Obama was born in Hawaii, he legally should not be PRESIDENT based on his FATHER being a LEGAL Citizen of KENYA.

I don't care what COLOR a person is so please don't use Racist remarks on this.  Also, lets turn the page a little bit.... "what if Obama was a REPUBLICAN???"  I bet all the Democrats would be all over his a$$ about this very same subject.... and if you say you disagree with me, then you are fooling yourself!

Scott still doubts Obama's birth certificate

Here's what really bothers me: Individuals who aren't able to string together coherent or grammatically correct sentences. If you can't write don't post. Either the school you attended did wrong by you, or you're just an idiot. I'm guessing the latter. Oh, and by the way, the Oriloes SUCK!!!

Scott still doubts Obama's birth certificate

ummm, don't you think he did? I mean the FBI, FEC, and Secret Service are required to validate his citizenship. I think they know a little more than you or Luke Scott.

Scott still doubts Obama's birth certificate

Here's my list of the people and groups that would had participated in this "scam" and their roles.

Stanley Ann Dunham- Mother of President Obama. She had to make trips to and from Hawaii and Kenya. Passsport? Travel records?
The kenyan hospital- Birth certificate? Names of doctor and staff? Dunham's post birth medical records?
The kenyan government- Customs records?
INS- paperwork: Requests to bring child into country?
Kapiʻolani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital- Fraudelent medical records?
State of Hawaii dept. of health- fraudlent birth certificate?
FBI, CIA & NSA- Background check paperwork certifying that Obama did not meet the requirements for citizenship?

Look up at this list then ask yourself this logical question.

How can this be that an 18 woman had successfully fooled a kenyan hospital, the kenyan government, the hawaiian hospital, the hawaiian state government, the INS, the FBI, the CIA and the rest of our federal government into believing that a Kenyan born child was a natural born UC citizen and in the process, managed to collect and destroy the entire papertrail?

I don't ask much from anyone here but to take a moment and think before you open your mouth.

Scott still doubts Obama's birth certificate

I have my doubts that Luke Scott is a professional baseball player.  I'll need him to release his union membership card.

Scott still doubts Obama's birth certificate

People STILL carrying on about the birth certificate are ridiculous.  These are the same people who think Obama is a muslim puppet trying to enslave the whole country.  Wake up people.  There's more important things than his birth cert to worry about, like the economy for instance. Waste of energy, waste of intelligence.  Birther's are PATHETIC.
