There hasn't been a signature Red Sox-Yankees brawl since Jason Varitek introduced Alex Rodriguez to his mitt, but the Class A clubs of Greenville Drive (Red Sox) and Charleston Riverdogs (Yankees) had quite the brawl.

These was already bad blood between the two teams, and New York's Slade Heathcott took exception to a hit by pitch, shoving catcher Christian Vazquez roughly. Vazquez nailed a haymaker to the helmet before both teams converged and spent a few minutes roughly shoving each other and breaking up the fight.

Why's he hitting the catcher?  Did he get knocked silly?  The guy who threw the ball is out on the mound.

The batter is practically standing on the plate. I imagine the pitch was meant to back him off. It would be interesting to see if he stands that close next time he faces that pitcher.

Nothing like a baseball brawl. The funniest part of this is at about 27 seconds look at the guy on the right side that comes in, number 37. Watch the punch he "throws" haha. LOL.

Escobar needs to sit for a long time. That piece of crap has no part of that fight and is kicking guys. Plese get a bat and give him 34oz of behavior correction. Heres hoping Tommy John is in his future.

Wow, someone please put these idiots in timeout.  I mean, it is a game for Heaven's sake.  How many of them have children and of those, how many are proud of what their kids have now seen from their father?  Seems a little ridiculous to me... grown men acting like children in a sandbox.

Not many punches thrown beyond the batter and catcher taking a few at each other. Escobar (#33) is a gutless worm, kicking people on the ground. He deserves to be suspended.
