You wonder how Brewers closer John Axford feels about his team adding the Mets' Francisco Rodriguez?

Well, Axford responded on Twitter on Wednesday morning and he doesn't seem too upset.

There's been a question on just how the Brewers would appease two closers, but most who know Axford say he'd have zero problem stepping aside for Rodriguez. The Brewers, however, may want to limit Rodriguez's opportunities to finish games. He has a $17.5 million option that vests if he finishes 55 games this season. So far, he's finished 34 games this season. The Brewers could try split closers, or they could see if Rodriguez would setup.

Rodriguez recently hired Scott Boras to represent him. Earlier this week, senior writer Danny Knobler noted Boras wouldn't mind getting rid of the vesting option in order to make Rodriguez the top closer on the open market this offseason.
