Not much thrilled with Knobler's choice of ALCS MVP, as Russell Martin was rated to be the better player for the Yankees in the regular season, but he does not seems to keep himself healthy, so for me i would go for either Derek Jeter or Curtis Granderson as my MVP choice.

I love how people still seem to believe that online sports columnists are somehow a lower class than "real" newspaper men. I got news for you folks, newspapers are for old people.  And I'm not some young punk, I'm in my mid-30s.  Regardless of who the BBWAA decides are worthy of a precious vote, everyone I know who works in the newspaper business has been laid off multiple times in the last five years. Newspaper columnists are the friggin idiots that ruin my late afternoon drinking time with horrible crap like "Round the Horn" when I just want to watch ESPN News highlights in the hotel bar.  Yeah, I'm talking to you, Woody "bad dye job" Paige.

Hah, only Knobler picked Detroit to lose to the yanks, and he said the yankees are winning it all.

I'm glad you guys aren't real sports writers, with real columns working in the real sports media.
But not to worry...I have your headlines right here:

Yankees stimied by Verlander - but they were better than the Red Sox
Rays have no answer for Belte, Napoli, Hamilton & Cruz...Blame yanks for loss!
Tigers pitching can't stop Rangers hitting machine...Verlander drops two!

D-Backs turn Prince into Pauper - Gibson relives the miracle!
Phillies forget how to hit...Cards don't...Surprise, Surprise!
Cards can't survive the desert air...D-Backs are back!

Rangers outpitch D-Backs...win 7th game of historic series.
Eastern media lampoon over missing yanks, Phils, Rays & oh yeah, Red Sox

Remember, your read it here first!
