National League MVP Ryan Braun, who reportedly failed an MLB drug test, says his "day will come" when gossip website TMZ.com spotted him coming out of Los Angeles International Airport.

There's really not much more to this video than that, but it is Braun on video talking -- albeit briefly -- about the charges against him.

I'm guessing TMZ has people with video cameras stationed at LAX all the time, waiting for them to come out and then ask about the affairs of the day. I'd love to talk to the TMZ.com folks about the best parking and restaurants at LAX, I'm sure they'd be able to help.

Ryan Braun: 'My day will come'

I am a Cardinal fan so no love for the Brewers but this media hype and leaking of information before the accused can have a hearing is outragous. If he is guilty suspend him but lets wait and see. What if his own training staff which is employed by the Brewers who are part of MLB prescribed the medication ? The Brewers and MLB could have a little legal problem here in upholding a suspension and withholding earnings.

Ryan Braun: 'My day will come'

Just to clarify, Braun's results did NOT indicate the use of PED's. He tipped the scales for a banned substance. They aren't the same thing.
I'm not defending or condemning Braun, I just believe he deserves to have his day in court before judging his actions.  If it turns out the substance WAS a performance enhancer, then let the chips fall and take his 50 games. If it turns out to be a drug he needed to take for a medical condition (an STD has been speculated) then the case should be thrown out. Privacy laws should protect him.  All the hate filled, sanctamonious comments on here only speak of fan ignorance, which is more offensive than anything Braun has done so far.  Sports are tainted. Football and basketball are a joke. Baseball is actually policing it's participants with real teeth in the penalties.
I'm not nearly the sports fan I once was because there's just too much money involved.  Much of the fun, comaraderie and good nature of sportsmanship is long gone. The money at stake has changed the nature of the games. But I still choose to take it on a case by case basis.

Selig overlooked the problem for too long, but once he realized the depth of the issue and how it would ruin the game in the long run, he pressed for changes to level the playing field once again. More than you can say for many other sports.  Personally, I've written off the steroid era for the most part. Bonds, Clemens and the like were still great players but the numbers and recorcds they accumulated will always have an asterisk in my own mind, regardless of what the ruling bodies decry.  The numbers in the game have rececded, so the drug policies are having a postive
effect.  Just let this instance run it's course and THEN judge.

When this goes to the actual appeal they will find this is not a manny case. It's a medical condition he has and he sues MLB for the hippo law violation it will be 25 gamess at worst or none at all

Yeah your day will come, actually your 50 days will come. Braun you are a cheater and a liar, I am 100% sure of it.
Oh so you're on the appeal board then?  Hmm shouldn't you be working on what to say to Braun when he appears in front of you in January?

Much respect for a sage, informed comment. With so many douche bags weighing in here with drivel, this is very refreshing.
