Derek JeterBy C. Trent Rosecrans

Someone in Tampa don't know what they want, but know how to get it. They wanna destroy the poster boy, because they wanna be anarchy. … Get pissed, destroy… or something.

A vandal painted a circled A, the anarchy symbol many of us had on our notebook in seventh grade to show how punk rock we were, on Derek Jeter's Tampa mansion, according to the MJ Morning Show on Florida's 93.3 FLZ radio station, which has a picture.

The house next door was also vandalized with what the story describes as the words "F*ck Pigs." I'm guessing the vandal didn't use the asterisk, but I didn't see it. But the fact another neighbor in the tony neighborhood got the same treatment as Jeter suggests it wasn't a comment on the Yankees' acquisition of Michael Pineda.

According to the report, Jeter has people to help him out, painting over the spray paint within two hours of filing a police report.

Jeter is more punk than the Sex Pistols!  The Sex Pistols were a forced idea.  Like the Monkees.  Totally ripped off Richard Hell's clothing style.  Musically, they can't even compare to Richard Hell.

It is completely obvious that it was anarchists as part of the occupy wall st movement.
What a joke they are....
Their message changes from daya to day and they are becoming more and more violent (see Oakland)

I  guess they are mad at the rich people in that neighborhood, including Jeter, bacause they aren't giving up most their pay to taxes so the government can abuse and waste it.

@torresterrors

Thanks!  I actually used to be on the forums of the site constantly quite a few years ago.  They had some amazing forums here that sparked really amazing and fun debate.  I'm not entirely sure what happened, but my impression was that there was far too many personal attacks and the person moderating had to spend far too much time....moderating.  So that forum was removed completely.

Since then I've been super-busy in life, but my love for baseball has waned very little and is still very strong.  And during this offseason I've really enjoyed the debates on "who would you pick".  So I decided to join in again!

I really love this site, so I don't like to critique very much, but it would be nice to have the comments section arranged a little better.  For example, although I clicked "reply to comment" under your post, I don't know that my post will show up under your comment.  In fact, I think it doesn't...which is weird.  I'll check it out when I post this to verify.  :)

The misspelling and bad grammar was an intentional allusion to a song.  So many grammar nazis.  Get lives!
