Another turn in the Vick case

The news continues to be not-so-good for Eagles QB Michael Vick. Remember how Vick apparently had left the restaurant where his birthday party was held long before one of his former dog-fighting associates was shot last week?

Well, it might not have happened exactly like that.

According to the Hampton Roads Daily Press , Vick’s entourage left the Guadalajara restaurant at 2:07 a.m., three minutes before gunshots rang out. This, according to the surveillance video the restaurant turned over to police Tuesday.

Vick attorney, Larry Woodward, did not sound pleased with the apparent confliction of the video and what he had claimed earlier.

"I stand by what I said, that Michael was long gone before the shooting, does not know who did the shooting and had nothing to do with the shooting," Woodward told the newspaper. "Anyone who says any different better be very careful."

He'll serve his time now

What this article does not say is that the video also showed that the victom slapped the hand of Vicks fiance (Another person who makes great life choices) hwile she was taking a bite of birthday cake, causing the cake to go all over her face (sounds to me like an attempted joke).  The video then shows Vick and the victom 'exchanging words' (remember the part about him not associating with him?) before the Vick entourage left the restaurant.

No matter what the NFL does, he clearly violated parole, so he's now on the hook for the rest of his sentence.  That was a 5 year deal if I remember right.

Another turn in the Vick case

No respect for the NFL???  Try no repsect for human or animal life.

3 minutes isn't long gone - in fact, it's not even gone at all - it places him at the scene.

His punishment for the dog fighting ring wasn't severe enough.

Another turn in the Vick case

Did Vick mention anything on the LeBron James situation?Laughing

I can't wait for ESPN to doa  special on that or possibly CBS could write another 50 articles on it.

Another turn in the Vick case

Considering the situation, and that Mr. Woodward's client is on probation, I would suggest Michael Vick be very careful.

Do the math, definitely long gone!

"Vick’s entourage left the Guadalajara restaurant at 2:07 a.m., three minutes before gunshots rang out."

Vick attorney, Larry Woodward, ..."I stand by what I said, that Michael was long gone before the shooting..."

Theoretical analysis:
"Okay, Home Boys... let's split this scene. You know, lessoned learn, Big Ben, Pac Man, stay too late we can geet in a sh*t load of trouble, so let's get outta here: BOOGITY BOOGITY BOOGITY!!!"

And then, speeding away at approx 70 miles an hour in a cruisin' decked out Escalade, that puts you long gone, long gone!!! even though you fled the scene three minutes earlier. (Let's say he and his consorts were maybe already 10 to 20 miles away, at least!!!

Don't worry, CSI will figure it out!!!

His Handlers Must Be Cringing

I can't imagine Vick will be charged with anything here.  He was gone.  There is video that proves this.  The problem is that he just doesn't get it.  He is a convicted criminal and being near a crime is enough to end his NFL career.  He doesn't have to really have done something tangible to lose his job and only source of income.  Why take the chance?  Why lie about when you left?  Either don't comment or be 'very careful' about what he says.  Love his lawyer threatening libel too.  Just a sterling image with Vick.

Another turn in the Vick case

Where are all the Vick supporters?  All you genius' who said he served his time and we should leave him alone?  This guy's a criminal, his dog disgrace proved to me that he very much has a criminal mind and criminal tendancies... no right-minded person could do those things, then suddenly 'see the light'.  Gimmie a f-ing break, how much of a surprise is it that he's back in the nightclub at 2am during a shooting?
Right, he served his time and really learned something.  Please, please someone come on here and try to defend this guy now.

Gone Is Gone

He said he was gone before it happened and he was gone before it happened.  So he wasn't sure how long after he left the shooting occurred, that could just mean he doesn't know anything about it.

Another turn in the Vick case

First, the shooting happened outside not in the restaurant.  Second bars/restaurants close in VB at 2 am.  So Vick leaving at 207 indicates he closed the bar down.  The shooting again happened outside 3 minutes after he and his boys left.  The area this occured is actually quite nice and mostly very safe.  This isnt like the projects in Newport News where Vick comes from.  You also seem to overlook the fact that he is on probation and is to not associate with criminals.  Point blank, he violated his probatation.  Your argument is a joke and it it is clear you have failed to retain the facts.  Stop defending the dumb thug.  You probably didnt know how dumb he is.  While at Tech they only hand a hand full of plays for him and he could improvise accordingly, this is because he was/is to dumb to retain the playbook like all other VT quarterbacks were expected and required to.  He is an idiot, cant pass, is getting old, and most importantly violated probabtion which will lead to a suspension and most certainly end his pathetic career.  Some superstar you are buddy
