Another turn in the Vick case

Posted on: June 29, 2010 10:09 pm

The news continues to be not-so-good for Eagles QB Michael Vick. Remember how Vick apparently had left the restaurant where his birthday party was held long before one of his former dog-fighting associates was shot last week?

Well, it might not have happened exactly like that.

According to the Hampton Roads Daily Press , Vick’s entourage left the Guadalajara restaurant at 2:07 a.m., three minutes before gunshots rang out. This, according to the surveillance video the restaurant turned over to police Tuesday.

Vick attorney, Larry Woodward, did not sound pleased with the apparent confliction of the video and what he had claimed earlier.

"I stand by what I said, that Michael was long gone before the shooting, does not know who did the shooting and had nothing to do with the shooting," Woodward told the newspaper. "Anyone who says any different better be very careful."

"Once a 'THUG'..........always a 'THUG'. You can make the money-men out of the thugs, but you can never get the thug out of the money-men.

Yes, he was told not to associate with any of his former partners in the dog fighting case.
Like the person who was shot.  That would be a violation of his parole.  Vick is claiming
he didnt know the guy would be at his birthday party.

He should have never even been allowed a second chance. He is clearly a thug with little to no respect for the NFL.  Goodbye Micheal Vick

Vick didn't learn anything from Ben Roethlisberger, the only place to avoid cameras is the rest rooms.

Should we honestly expect the truth from anyone in this?  We are learning from both cases that the old "lie until the truth comes out" strategy has some serious flaws in it an age where every bar, restaurant, club, even McDonalds has a camera system in it.  As we repeatedly seem to learn from PacMan, VY, Vick, and other athletes, nothing good happens at 2 am in a bar/club/strip club.  Especially nothing for a recently released from prison football player trying to repair a horribly destroyed image.
Vick is on probation, right?  Is there any chance that he might have violated it?  Not accusing, just wondering.

The Truth???

Does Vick even know how NOT to lie about something? Entourage!? WTF? Vick should be sitting at home every night with a good book or some movies to watch. What a moron. FEE FEI FOO FIGGER. He better consult Ray Lewis with what to do in this situation.
