An NFL Network blog says, “The animosity between RB Chris Johnson and the Titans is beginning to thaw. (Mike) Lombardi believes a long-term deal will be done by the time training camp starts later this month.”C.Johnson (US Presswire)

Johnson has been staging a very public holdout this offseason, protesting his $550,000 base salary for 2010. Johnson denied being seen working out at the Titan Baptist Sports Park facilities last week, though Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean says sources confirmed Johnson’s presence. (Most members of the Titans organization were on vacation at the time.)

Chris Johnson's holdout could end soon

Anyone think CJ would have taken a pay cut or refunded some of the 7 million he was already paid, if he had been a poor player?

Chris Johnson's holdout could end soon

BoSox... you know nothing. I guess you're just used to the Red Sox buying players.

Chris Johnson was given 7 of his 12 million after two seasons.

Because of league rules involving rookie contracts, the Titans will have to give him 40 more million up front to re-do his contract.

That fact that you think Chris Johnson deserves 47 million deposited directly into his banking account after two seasons says all I need to know about you.

How is your minimum wage job working out for ya?

Chris Johnson's holdout could end soon

Good job Chris, if anyone deserves a pay raise this year it is you.  I am very disappointed with the Titans' ownership and front office.  The best RB in the league and only legit talent the Titans have should be treated with more respect.
