Tony Dungy, whom the NFL appointed as Michael Vick’s mentor upon Vick’s reinstatement, appeared on The Dan Patrick Show and talked about the quarterback’s current situation.
Dungy said Vick “made mistakes” and that the outcome of the 30th birthday bash “could have been disastrous and may still be”.
Roger Goodell envisioned Vick never again doing anything to reflect poorly on himself, his team or the NFL. Dungy admitted that, in this case, Vick “probably didn’t live up to that.”
Yesterday, Virginia Commonwealth attorney Harvey Bryant said Vick was involved in a confrontation prior to the shooting. But according to Philly.com, an Eagles source says this is a “mischaracterization”.
It’s been lot of commotion for a backup quarterback. Stay tuned.
