Haynesworth: 'I'm tired of this BS'

Albert Haynesworth failed his second conditioning test on Friday morning -- after failing a test on Thursday as well -- and is quickly becoming the biggest NFL training camp storyline . (Brett Favre is likely not pleased.)

Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan had some pointed comments on Thursday night , but he wasn't alone. Haynesworth told NBC4 in DC , "I'm tired of this B.S., I just want to get on the field and play football."

The good (?) news for Haynesworth is that he'll get a THIRD shot to pass the test on Saturday, according to Jason Reid of the Washington Post .

Reid also notes two more things of interest: 1) Haynesworth must complete two 300-yard shuttle runs, according to sources, in under 71 seconds and 2) some players have "privately expressed concern" that Shanahan is simply trying to make an example out of Haynesworth.

If that's the case, it's certainly working.

Update (11:58): Washington made strength and conditioning coach Ray Wright available to the media. He confirmed that the test is indeed two 300-yard shuttle runs. The first must be completed in 70 seconds or less, and is followed by a two minute break, with a second 300-yard run that must be completed in 70-73 seconds. He also added, according to the WaPo 's Rick Maese on Twitter , that, "I expect him to pass it soon."

Does anyone know how long it takes the Wide Receivers or the Quaterbacks to run this if they have too? What does an average offensive line-man on the redskins do this same drill in?

Any of who say shanny is in the wrong are foolish. THE GUY SIGNED A $100 MILL DEAL. He cant get his way so what does he do? Throws a fit like a spoiled child who has it all and cant get more. Seriously shut up, shape up and play the dam game they payed u 100 mill to play. This guy is a joke. HE DOES NOT WANT TO WIN PERIOD

Shannahan is a great coach and has proven to be one of the greats in this era of football. I had a feeling Hanesworth was a bit overrated and fluourished because of those around him. Now under the spotlight that is a $100 mill contract he folds. if i were a skins fan i would be so pissed. that cash could have went to players who give a dam. Hell skins  could have nabbed Marshall or at least had a better shot to if the had the cap space. I thought the Jevon Walker deal a few years back was stunning and overrated bu this takes the cake ( lol) easily.

This is football, not Hollywood.  If your team changes from a 4-3 to a 3-4 defense, you adjust, you don't cry about it.  Haynesworth is a top notch baby.  Send the baby packing Shanahan!

I'm so glad Moneysworth has trimmed down this offseason. Is he trying to complain because he can't run the length of the football field 3 times? You cannot make a case that he will never need to run more than five yards. What if there's a turnover and he needs to lead block down the field. What if someone gets past him, should he just give up on the play, "missed my running quota, I'm out of the play". Moneysworth has never been know for his character either. Let's remember this is the guy that cleated a defenseless and helmetless Andre Gurode just a few years ago. He obviously didn't have a good father figure growing up and Shanahan is daddy dowhatIsay. Like a rebellious teenager Moneysworth, thought he'd be smart and drop the full set of spare tires he had growing around his girth. Smart, guy! Remember what happened to Warren Sapp when he dropped all that weight? He got pushed around. They should dock his pay based on the percentage of plays he participates in, during games. If he plays half the plays he gets half the pay. No play no pay ya big baby.

I'm guessing that Haynesworth has a mile time around 14 minutes, what a joke.

He has 100 million reasons to do what ever the Skins ask of him.
