So, Brett Favre is in Minnesota now. That whole "on a plane" "heading north" thing wasn't a hoax. Neither was the Flight Tracker.

This is REAL, PEOPLE. And you can watch it. No, seriously, you can watch it live on ABC 5 in the Twin Cities.

Let me warn you, though. If you tune into this, you will be a) bored by watching a black SUV drive down the highway slightly faster than OJ, b) angry that this guy keeps hijacking our lives every season, c) eventually even angrier that people pretended his retirement was somehow real, and d) eventually resigned that this will happen again next season with similar results.

Either way, if you're at an office and can't watch ESPN News (where Favre is also being tracked live), you can do so at that link. Or you could do the more entertaining thing and listen to what our own Pete Prisco has to say. We recommend the latter.

By the by, if this is somehow the most awesome hoax of all-time and Favre is just pulling a prank on everyone and about to drop his pants on the ground at the microphone before retiring, well, we'll be pretty thrilled.

UPDATE: The Vikings are expected to officially announce Favre's status for 2010 in a press conference Wednesday.

Story is old, Farve is old and I am tired of hearing about it.  He should have just said the last 3 years, that he is too old to go thru training camp.  Camp takes too much of a toll on his body, but that he would play in the regular season and still be productive.  He has earned that right, but instead of being a man, he plays this game of, I am going to retire, oh, nope, not going to retire and in my opinion, he has tainted what was once a grreat reputation and turned it into a person that I no longer respect.

How can anyone remain a Bratt Favre fan? I had a lot of respect for the guy, until the last number of selfish, arrogant years. Making himself the center of attention every year, he is not even close to being a teamate or any sort of Legend. Get over yourself and GO AWAY already. I would settle for a third string QB with heart before I would want the Drame Queen start for my team. Great Move Packers.

STOP PAYING ATTENTION!

For the life of me I can't understand why people continuously bitch about this when there are a million other traning camp issues going on - you all knew that he would show up in camp late - there is no story here.

The only "sports reporters" who even write about this are the crappy ones who have nothing better to talk about.

Tune in to Espn all you Viking fans who think your Team can not win unless you have a 40 year old over paid selfish cry baby on your team.
If this is what you guys need have at it Brat Farve played above his head last year and will not even come close to getting you back to the championship game this year. He is a punk like my Steelers QB Little Benny. You guys are buying fools gold and would do better by just telling Brat to stay home. Most of you beg for old man river to come back I am personally glad he did because this move will make it Virtaul lock that the Vikings will not be in the Superbowl. You sold your soul to the Devil now its time to pay the price. Down with the Viking Go Steelers Go Steelers {and now you all can bring on your Big Ben Joke and Imight even share a few of mine with you} Farve a Loser and would not have one the superbowl in Greenbay When he was in his prime if it was not for Reggie White. One Super Bowl ring with all those great Packer teams that are even better than the This Viking team. Shame Shame Shame
