NFL investigating Jets' 'frat-boy' locker room

Over the weekend at Jets practice, there was some noise made about a potentially awkward situation whereby Jets players and coaches were, for lack of a better word, harassing a female reporter from TV Azteca.

Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post mentioned it a couple of times on Twitter, and Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk was informed by sources that the Jets were -- with said TV reporter present -- "acting like frat boys."

Apparently, the reporter went into the locker room and was essentially treated to cat calls (or something close to it) and was "embarrassed, to the point of being close to tears."

Clearly, the NFL wouldn't be thrilled with this behavior, and sure enough, they're investigating it, as NFL spokesman Greg Aiello confirmed to CBSSports.com that "the Jets and our office began looking into it as soon as we learned of it last night."

If the Jets did indeed behave as was reported, you can expect Roger Goodell to take this matter pretty seriously. He's stood by reasonably quietly while the Jets, ahem, swagger has let them become one of the most talked about teams in the NFL.

When it comes to something that could border on sexual harassment, though, you can bet the NFL won't sit idly by.

I wanna be a reporter for the womens, volleyball, soccer, basketball - wait scratch that last one...  They can cat call me all they want, I certainly wouldn't get offended or cry.  There is only one person in this situation who acted unprofessionally, the reporter!  Her job is to go into situations and leave her gender, her biases, her opinions outside of the situation and do her job.  But no, she got caught up in her own gender and broke down.  NOW, before all the women in here punch there screen in anger for what I said, she as a person does not deserve that.  The fact all reporters guys or girls go into locker rooms know they are going to hear bad language, get looked at, yes there are gay football players too, or just plain get yelled at.  Football players are people too but because they are on tv and play for the fans fans reporters and fans think they have specail access to their lives... WELL, welcome to their life because it doesn't get any more intimate than seeing a man in his locker room.  I mean there is nothing more embarrassing than shrinkage!!!  So if you're a woman, stay out of the fire if you can't take the heat.  If I was a man reporting on women and all they did was make fun of my hair loss, my lack of muscle, my "member" size, I wouldn't do it.  Why subject yourself to that, unless of course you like the attention only YOU want but not what guys sometimes give.  Do report on a childrens hospital being bunred down and not do your job because you can't stand smoke, or can't stand to see children burned.  Maybe, then don't.  Leave it to a professional.

You people are amazing, so its ok to act like total idiots eh? I wonder how many of those morons have daughters or sisters. I bet they wouldn't be hollering and cat calling if someone did it to their loved ones lol....
Doesn't matter the Jets are gonna crash and burn anyways.

No wonder they were harassing the reporter, she is pretty attractive(Link Below) but that doesn't give them the right to do that. It goes to show you what a bunch of classless immature overpaid jocks they are, and it starts from the top down.
