NFL investigating Jets' 'frat-boy' locker room

Over the weekend at Jets practice, there was some noise made about a potentially awkward situation whereby Jets players and coaches were, for lack of a better word, harassing a female reporter from TV Azteca.

Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post mentioned it a couple of times on Twitter, and Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk was informed by sources that the Jets were -- with said TV reporter present -- "acting like frat boys."

Apparently, the reporter went into the locker room and was essentially treated to cat calls (or something close to it) and was "embarrassed, to the point of being close to tears."

Clearly, the NFL wouldn't be thrilled with this behavior, and sure enough, they're investigating it, as NFL spokesman Greg Aiello confirmed to CBSSports.com that "the Jets and our office began looking into it as soon as we learned of it last night."

If the Jets did indeed behave as was reported, you can expect Roger Goodell to take this matter pretty seriously. He's stood by reasonably quietly while the Jets, ahem, swagger has let them become one of the most talked about teams in the NFL.

When it comes to something that could border on sexual harassment, though, you can bet the NFL won't sit idly by.

she should become a weather girl, so she can't put herself in those kind of situations.

What offense? A low class hoochie mama in a man's environment?  Please!!!!!, she was doubtless harassed more by her littermate brothers and the male perceived to be her 'father' growing to adulthood and the age of estress.

WOW, thank you whoever posted the link w/ her pics.  Jesus, that's a perfect 10!!!  I knew once I read harrasment in a football locker-room + lady from Aztec-tv that she would be one fine ass latina, but DAMN!!!  Typically I don't even like em that skinny but she's so toned it doesn't matter.  What an ass!!  You can probably see the cho-cha w/ out her even bending over.  How's that for harrasment?

Funny thing is, I bet if one of those players, IF just ONE had any class what-so-ever, could've simply walked up to her, introduced himself & apologized for his teamates behavior, & got some of the best sex of his life for simply being a gentleman.

No one ever said these guys were smart in packs though, if at all.  Classic canine behavior.  This is a big reason why so many black women are going to other races or turning to women.

I'm not sayin this as a racist, I'm sayin this as a realist.  There we probably was some white & mixed guys doggin her too, but we all know who the main aggresors were.

Don't like what I said, too bad, deal.  My woman recently got a black bus driver fired & is gonna have a lucrative class-action sexual harrasment lawsuit b/c of his actions.

Just remember folks, reps are a b!tch & you can only make one first impression.

well, first of all i don't think women have any business in a males locker room.  2nd whether that's kosher or not, if you have watched spanish channel tv and news, you'll see that these women dress provocatively with shorts skirts and showing cleavage.  they don't dress in a professional manner, so i'm pretty sure this reporter wasn't either if it was going to be put on t.v.  Not to say she had it coming but, that''s what happens.

TV.azteca? Does she have her papers? Better be lucky she wasn't in Arizona. Was it the same girl from TV.azteca that showed up to the SB 42 media day and asked Brady to marry her?

Either way, no surprise. No order on that team.

Not at all surprised if this is indeed true, and my guess is that it did happen. This is a directly related to the cocky, arrogant, "tough guy" attitude created by an extremely overweight head coach of the Jets. Plus, it appears this team has quite a few immature, "frat boy" mentality players who if they had some intelligence and couth would realize that you just don't behave that way. Plus, are they really so dumb to think that in this day and age of media coverage and social networking activity that it wouldn't be found out? Maybe someone should say the same crap to the mom's of these neanderthals.
