There are rumors swirling that Colts safety Bob Sanders suffered another torn biceps injury Sunday. If that’s the case, then Sanders is out for the season (again). Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk writes, “What we know for now is that no one is saying anything yet. The team is quiet and the player is quiet. Indeed, the player is so quiet that some folks with whom he ordinarily would be communicating have yet to hear from him.”

Sanders left the game against Houston with what was described as an “elbow” injury.

In what seems like a terrible omen for Colts fans, Eagles center Jamaal Jackson left Sunday’s game with an elbow injury, and his injury did turn out to be a season-ending triceps tear. This is a heartbreaking turn of events for Jackson, who spent this entire past offseason recovering from a December torn ACL. Jackson is now out for the year.

Jackson’s not the only Eagle who went down for the year Sunday. Pro Bowl fullback Leonard Weaver tore his ACL when his knee got bent the wrong way in a pile (it was a gruesome looking injury).

UPDATE 12:04 ET: Sources tell Fox Sports that Weaver suffered three ligament tears plus nerve damage.

UPDATE 1:30 ET: Bob Sanders will have an MRI Monday.

I mean, I give him props because he has won defensive awards, etc for being so good at what he does.  He just gets injured way too often and needs to maybe just retire...
But, it has been said many times he gets injured so much because he plays so hard and puts 110% into every hit, but the Colts can win without him.

You're a Colts fan but keep referring to Bob Sanders as a CB?  He has been a SAFETY for the last 6 years.  At least call him a DB so you don't sound like a bandwagon jumper, but I guess that is what most Colts fans are anyway.

What a shame if this report is accurate.  This guy could've been a hall of famer if he wasn't so injury prone.  Bob Sanders is an absolute game changer when he's out there.  Big loss for the Colts, but then again, it's not like they're not used to playing without him.

Sanders is hurt....AGAIN.  That guy is good and he is jacked.  Maybe if he laid off the roids, he might be able to stay healthy. I'm just saying, he is jacked and is always getting hurt, Hmmmmm....

as a colts fan to lose bob sanders again for another sreason will be devastating. i hope that his injury is not as bad as people think. but the way that it looked it proably will be another season with out sanders. which really sucks for us colts fans. we sure could have used him last year in the superbowl thats for sure. and if we get there this year we would love to have him there with us. he is a dam good cb, and if he would call it quits next year, then i hope that indy will draft a good cb to take his place. if not then we will be hurtin in the corner for a lil while tell we can get a good cb to pick up were sanders left off. and those are pretty big shoes for anyone to fill at this point i hope he is k are prayers are with him and his family

Bradley is injury prone, and the ironic thing is he ran into Ernie Sims, another guy whose style of play leads to injuries.

Seeing the tape on Kolb, he got tackled and skidded on his head and neck for a couple of yards. The coordinators upstairs should have seen that and pulled him immediately.
