Brett Favre spoke with his buddy from ESPN, Ed Werder, on Saturday. Apparently his ankle has improved significantly. Favre told Werder that he wouldn’t have made the trip to New England if he didn’t expect to start.

Brad Childress has said Favre will be a game time decision Sunday. The head coach insists he won’t let Favre’s consecutive starts streak (291) influence his decision.

UGGGG, i cannot wait until this jackass retires FINALLY......Nothing worse than a complete egomaniac who is also an idiot, but believes he's smart The only person buying his BS anymore is him

He the most selfish guy in football, hes playing badly enough already and is now going to further jeapordize the team by playing injured, would love to play the vikings this week!!

..you're correct about etmaniac88... It's never a good mojo to wish harm on anyone, especially in such a childish manner. The Universe always finds a way to kick you in the ass when it's all said and done. With that being said. Somebody has to stop being afraid of hurting Favre's ego. Right now all he's going to do is hurt the ViQueens chance of winning. If Childress cannot man-up and sit Favre, (who in my opinion has become the NFL's biggest Diva...EVER) then let him come out for the first play then bring in Jackson. If nothing else, Jackson's scrambling abilities will give Minnesota an edge when the Patriots come with an onslaught of blitzes. This is professional football...the most team supported game out there and (as a coach) you have to do what's best for the team to earn a win. Right now Favre is not the best QB to be leading this team. And believe me...it pain's me to be so "nice" with my comments about Favre. I used to think he was one class act but after his wanting to go to the ViQueens just to hurt and beat the Packers(over the last 2 seasons), proved how vindictive and childish he can be. Plus the last scandal did more than put a huge black mark on his legacy, it also showed how much he cares about his family. My using the term, "Diva", may have been way to kind.
peace

Brett Favre expects to start Sunday

It`s all up the Favre. Ol` baldy`s only decision is asking Favre if he wants to play.

etManiac88.....The things you write don't seem too awfully smart either,....haven't you been taught not to wish bad or evil on anyone...even #4,and his foot is fractured, his ankle is not broken,Doctors have told him he can't damage it anymore by playing on it if he can stand the pain, and we all know he can.
