When the 49ers were told about the Broncos illegally taping one of their practices while in London, it wasn’t that big a surprise. They suspected something fishy (with chips, most likely) was happening.
That’s according to the locker room scene described by csnbayarea.com.
From the story:
The news was met with smiles and laughter Saturday among 49ers players.
The Broncos held their short practice at Wembley just prior to the 49ers' allotted practice time the day before their regular-season game as part of the NFL's International Series. According to four 49ers offensive players, the Broncos were seemingly in no hurry to leave the sideline as the 49ers took the field.
So the 49ers ran none of their own plays during the 20-minute period, which was set aside just to get acclimated to the surface and the playing conditions at Wembley Stadium.
"We lined up in different formations and did a bunch of crazy stuff," one player said. "We didn't even run any of our plays."
