Chicago won at home against Philadelphia Sunday, but the football played at Soldier Field has been overshadowed by some sad news near the stadium, as a fan in his 20's fell from the west side of the stadium and landed on a nearby roof-top.

Stewart Haverty, a 23-year-old, was pronounced dead at at a nearby hospital following the tragic incident.

According to Chicago Fire Department Chief Joe Roccasalva, via Chicago Breaking Sports, Haverty fell about 20 feet and landed on the roof-top, where he was air-lifted out and found to be in critical condition.

Witnesses apparently saw Haverty "run up the ledge and jump," which adds a bizarre twist to the sad story.

Thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

At this time I have not read anything saying it was suicide, or something due to intoxication. Until a report is released on how he died, then he gets all the sympathy in the world.
