Vikings punter Chris Kluwe is the latest player to rip the field conditions at TCF Bank Stadium. And, of all the players to speak out, Kluwe by far takes the cake for most eloquent and critical.
One comment he made Sunday was that perhaps a snowfall could help soften the playing surface. He was being facetious, but nevertheless, the theory will likely be tested.
The Pioneer Press is reporting that three to five inches of snow could be dumped on TCF Bank Stadium Monday night. From KARE11:
Expect around 2 to 3 inches on the ground by the start of the game. Snowfall rates will be around .5 inch per hour. So look for an additional 1 to 2 inches during the game.
