Jenn Sterger's meeting with Goodell 'heated'?

Jenn Sterger met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell last week to wrap up the league’s two-month investigation into the Brett Favre sexting allegations. Goodell and Sterger met in Manhattan for roughly two hours. According to Pro Football Talk, the meeting became “heated” at times.

Mike Florio of PFT writes, “It’s not surprising that it became heated, given the perception by Sterger’s representatives that no action will be taken against Favre.  Sterger’s manager, Phil Reese, and her lawyer, Joe Conway, believe that Sterger’s name can be cleared only with a finding that Favre in some way violated the league’s Personal Conduct Policy via his interactions with Sterger.”

Goodell also met with Favre after the Vikings’ Monday night game against the Bears.

“You know, I saw him briefly for I would say five or 10 minutes,” Favre said in a press conference afterwards. “It was a very brief conversation, so I wouldn’t think — I wouldn’t call that an investigation or anything.”

The NFL is expected to make a ruling on Favre this week.

re paz's question about did it impact her job?

What's really is her job? "hostess?" what the hell is that. Is her job just to run around in low cut tops sticking her tits into some rich ticket holders face?

Jenn Sterger's meeting with Goodell 'heated'?

she may win in court but you have to show damages.  I'm not sure Brett being an A$$ is worth anything?  did he create a hostile work environment?  did it impact her job?

Jenn Sterger's meeting with Goodell 'heated'?

Favre acted stupidly and Sterger could, COULD.. be out for some money. Why else would she have attorney's involved? Bring in the dirtbag lawyers... the only ones that can surpass Brett Favre as dirtbags.

Jenn Sterger's meeting with Goodell 'heated'?

I do not think Jenn will get any satisfaction from the league.  They'll probably just let Farve retire and be done with it.  Jenn will probably sue in civil court and she might actually win as the burden of proof is only "preponderance of the evidence" meaning whoever presents a more convincing story to to the judge will win.  Farve will loose in civil court as he has admitted to some of the accusations.  Brett will eventually get what he sowed... a day in court (probably civil).  Hey if the guy who got burnt by coffee sued and won against McDonald for not knowing that coffee is hot, Jenn will probably win since the whole world knows that Farve was involved one way or another.  Also, having the league find farve at fault will not clean Jenn's reputation.. it'll only give her a more convincing lawsuit in civil court.

Jenn Sterger's meeting with Goodell 'heated'?

I bet the farm this is ending like this: they'll just give favre a slap on the wrist at worst, and this battle will go to the courts.
This story has gone on for far too long, i stopped caring long ago

Favre is gonna get off squeaky clean

Even if the commish would take action, which he won't, I'm sure they'll give favre the option to just retire first. The NFL isn't going to piss on the legacy of one of the top earners for the NFL. Favre has done a good enough job ruining it with his drama.
