Jenn Sterger's meeting with Goodell 'heated'?

Jenn Sterger met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell last week to wrap up the league’s two-month investigation into the Brett Favre sexting allegations. Goodell and Sterger met in Manhattan for roughly two hours. According to Pro Football Talk, the meeting became “heated” at times.

Mike Florio of PFT writes, “It’s not surprising that it became heated, given the perception by Sterger’s representatives that no action will be taken against Favre.  Sterger’s manager, Phil Reese, and her lawyer, Joe Conway, believe that Sterger’s name can be cleared only with a finding that Favre in some way violated the league’s Personal Conduct Policy via his interactions with Sterger.”

Goodell also met with Favre after the Vikings’ Monday night game against the Bears.

“You know, I saw him briefly for I would say five or 10 minutes,” Favre said in a press conference afterwards. “It was a very brief conversation, so I wouldn’t think — I wouldn’t call that an investigation or anything.”

The NFL is expected to make a ruling on Favre this week.

So, why does the NFL have to discipline Favre? I don't agree with the whole thing, but it was consensual. I think she didn't get any money or get Brett so she is making her 15 minutes of fame.

It's got to be tuff to look like a whore and not being taken seriously. I feel for the young lady, and I sure hope her good name is cleared.  I'm guessing 6 figures will be the healing balm that will do the trick.

RUGE--Here is a comment from a steeler fan that does not involve crying--- put your bag on your head--go to a philly game (take you pick of sports--as they all eventually choke in the big one) and boo santa--tis the season.

Why does this hostess have a manager and a lawyer anyways?  If she doesnt realize that Adolf Goodell is going to leave her hanging out to dry until this drama queen actually does retire then maybe she needs a teacher as well.   Really, how long does it take to look at text messages/pictures and then see what number they came from--even adolf's gestapo should be able to wrap something like this up in less than 6 weeks.

"Sterger needs to get a job and make some honest cash instead of trying to take someone else's"

Good advice to Jenn and many Americans waiting for their "share" off the backs of others.

Sterger needs to get a job and make some honest cash instead of trying to take someone else's, but she wouldn't dream of doing that since all she's had to do her entire life is bat her eyes and get whatever the hell she wants.  Stupid b%#@.

Again, she has not sue Favre or demanded any money.  She has explicitly said she will not sue if the NFL disciplines Favre.  She did not make the intitial complaint about Favre, tried to avoid talking to the NFL about it and has not filed any suit.  I cannot understand why so many people on here are so convinced then that this is about money.  Maybe, just maybe, the Brett Favre who cheated on his wife in the past was looking to do it again with Sterger and did in fact sexually harass her.

Brett is a scumbag, but does Sterger have the "right to sue" him? Give me a break!!!

Well, first, Sterger has not sued anyone.  In fact, she has said that if the NFL disciplines Favre then she will not file any lawsuit against him.  Second, if, and I stress "if" because none of us no all of the facts or are privy to whatever the NFL's investigation has revealed, Sterger is telling the truth then, yes, she does have the "right to sue" Brett Favre regardless of what you think of the merits of how she has advanced in her career.  If, again IF, Favre made unwanted sexual advances through texts/voice mails and pics then yes she has a potential cause of action against him and the right to file a lawsuit against Favre, the Jets/NFL (his employer) for sexual harrassment.

My best guess, and yes its a guess, is that Favre did send the pics (he's admitted voice mails or texts I believe) and that Goodell is just hoping to delay any finding against Favre until after the season or if Favre goes on IR.  I think if the investigation had cleared Favre 100% the NFL would not be shy at all in telling us all about its exhaustive and intensive investigation that cleared the great Brett Favre.

His name is Brett Favre, not James Harrison .

WHAAAAAA, I'm a steelers fan and we have to cry about everything.

Can we have one post where a steelers fan does not bring their own team into the conversation?

Sending a picture of "yourself" to someone can be viewed sexual assault.  I actually know of people who have gotten arrested, thrown out of school, etc doing the same stupid thing.

Who the  hell are you hanging out with? Other than Caca,I have never met anyone who was stupid enough to text pen is pics.

Sorry Michaels,

If my wife or daughter dressed and acted like her, they would not be my wife or daughter anymore.

Rediculous post. The woman uses sex appeal to get money any way she can. Anybody believing her "poor little innocent girl" routine is extremely blind. She got her implants removed because "they had served my purpose in my career". Her career is sex. Her objective is money. These people need to be made an example of.   Brett is a scumbag, but does Sterger have the "right to sue" him? Give me a break!!!

Sounds like a call girl looking to get her money.  Just waiting for the pimp to show up.

"Upgrayedd don't care where the time machine is, now then last week.  He will find a way to come get his money."

Tongue out
