Meth labs are about as prevalent in the South as cheese grits, so it's not a huge deal when the cops bust one. Unless Brandi Favre, the sister of Brett Favre, is in the lab at the time, which she was according to a report on WLBT in Mississippi.

The local station reports that five individuals, including Brandi Favre, Brett's younger sister, were in a Diamondhead, Mississippi condo when Hancock County narcotics agents arrested them Wednesday. (And yes, this does kind of feel like piling on at this point, but until those retirement papers are filed, it's news.)

The report states that there was a drug buy spotted at a local gas station that led them to the location of the meth lab in a condo (which, based on my limited knowledge of meth labs -- largely generated by Breaking Bad -- is kind of a terrible place to have one), where the arrests were made and seven units were cleared out for safety purposes.

The charges for each individual haven't been released by the police yet, so it's entirely possible that Favre's younger sister was simply a victim of "wrong place/wrong time" circumstances.

So not only is Bretty Favre-er-raffa the MOST OVERRATED QB in the history of the NFL  ... but he doesn't  even share some of his undeserving wealth to his siblings forcing them to have to resort to making drugs in a meth lab ... you can't make this stuff up!

@Kitch,
I get your point about hearing crap like this, but since when was CBSSports.com a respectable website?
Says the guy who has been a member since December 10th, 2008.

Look, CBSSports.com has its share of bad writers and articles, I'll give you that. But these new blogs have turned non-sports/non-news-worthy stories into sports news stories.

PJK-Pitt.....what rumor are you talking about.  The article just says that  Brandi's arrest was reported by some other media outlet.  Are you saying that it's a rumor that the other media outlet reported the arrest?  Maybe CBS Sports just HEARD that the other media outlet made such a report and just didn't confirm it.  These stories have always been reported on CBS Sports and always will be so get over it or jump on some other sports website which does the same thing.

etc. etc. etc.

This kind of like Brett Favre's past season in Minnesota, it was also a "wrong place/wrong time" circumstance.

when do you hear of a meth lab being in a condo?????

I didn't know Diamondhead had condos.  Really though, in the south you hear of this all the time.  People put methlabs in apartment buildings in slums, and then all the way up to expensive gated apartment communities.  Meth labs aren't limited to only certain locations.  We've had fires in Louisiana condos as a result of methlabs exploding(guess they should have learned how to cook it in Mississippi).  Methlabs aren't secluded to just the poor.
