The Jets-Pats gameday cover? 'Lick em!'

Finally, the day of the Patriots-Jets game is here. Which means that everyone who's run their mouth all week finally gets to back the talk up with a little bit of walk.

This includes the media, who's fueled this fire as much as anyone. So, touche New York Post -- this might not be your most creative cover of the week, but it's still pretty good.

And by "good" I mean, of course, irrationally over the top. Anyway, Jets/Pats is here! Hopefully the game's as good as the press coverage.

Johnny Utes, your Amatuer ranking says it all, but why all the hatem with the screaming font?  Your lunatic rambling is Jared Loughner-like. Are you two friends? OK, you win the argument about SB success by a mile, but your math stinks: 2011 - 1969 = 42 years. And for your information, readers of the NY tabloids know hype when they see it.

And oh, which team is it, the Niners or Jets, that is still playing football right now?

In the past week I noticed a number of posters commenting aobut the NY POST covers, and making fun of the paper. The NY POST is 3rd rate journalism.  For those non NYers who really are not aware, the POST is about  1 step up from the National Inquirer. Although it has a good sports section, if you are looking for real news in NY, most people will read one of the other 3 papers. The Post sells papers based on covers like this and the smut on page 6. All it is ever good for is a laugh every now and then.

FLEETING ATTEMPT AT PROMOTING UTTER MEDIOCRITY.  IT'S BEEN OVER 30 YEARS SINCE THIS JETS ORGANIZATION WON A CHAMPTIONSHIP - NOTHING CHANGES THIS YEAR.

THE MEDIA IN NEW YORK CARRIES ITSELF WITH AN ARROGANCE AND BRAVADO SEEN NO WHERE ELSE IN THE COUNTRY.  SADLY ENOUGH, THESE IDIOTIC PRESS RELEASES GIVE THE FANSHIP A FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY.

JET'S FANS THERE'S NO CURE FOR THIS 30 YEAR HANGOVER..... DEVOTED NINER'S FAN (5 CHAMPIONSHIPS, JET FANS) - SUCK IT.

Appears the Post uses 3rd rate talent to do their graphics.  Why would they use a college football for this!
