B. Scott (US Presswire)
We all know the Jets love to talk. Their voluminous inside linebacker, Bart Scott, has become particularly good at talking after the game. He proved that again Sunday night when discussing Tom Brady.

“This was the quarterback that couldn’t get touched,” Scott said to a group of reporters, according to the Boston Herald. “[The media] talk all about how great he’s playing, but what Rex pulled out for us was his last three playoff games — what his record was and what his rating was then. He had a 66 quarterback rating in his last four or five playoff games and you guys didn’t believe that. You guys didn’t look deep enough into the notes.”

Scott elaborated about how the Jets were able to rattle the league’s 2010 MVP.

“He started looking for the rush when there was no rush,” Scott said. “He thought after a certain amount of time somebody was coming, he was fidgeting. . . . Most quarterbacks don’t like getting hit. They get hit and they turn into a totally different person.”

Somewhere, members of the ’07 Giants reading/hearing these words are nodding and smiling.

Bart Scott and the Jets just prove the point that Sportsmanship and Class aren't as important as Winning.

This stuff is great.  First of all, it proves once again that Jet fans are the worst in all of sports.  Worse than fans of UF(elons), worse than fans of "the" university of the state of Ohio (where cheating is a required course, just ask Clarett and the sweatervest), and worse than even fans of their neighbors, the Kew York Bankees, Mets and Knickerbockers.  Never has a larger group of boorish, loudmouthed, arrogant, dumb people been assembled than at a Jets watch party.

As fpr the team itself, it would not surprise me if they won on Sunday.  Their defense is playing really well right now and the Steelers are a little banged up on offense.  I think he Steelers' defense is better than NE, especially if Polamalu plays, and that should keep it close and might be the difference if they can force turnovers and mistakes.  If Sanchez keeps playing mistake free, I give the Jets a decent shot to win.  Its too bad the team has taken on the personality of their coach and their fans however.  Bart Scott=jackwagon.  Revis & Butthead=arseclowns.  In a perfect game, the Steelers win 49-0 and keep throwing in the 4th quarter.  However, unlike anyone in the Jets organization, Tomlin has some class and would never do that.

Classles comment about apes and crack dealers. Your probably a needle nose unathletic redneck who sits home and lives to watch other Men run around hitting eachother. If you don't care for either team then shut your Pie Hole and Man your remote for next season since your team is probably not even in contention anymore. Regardless of liking them or not you watched the game. JERK!

The truth hurts, doesn't it? I watch men running around hitting eachother on TV... it's called football. You don't watch? Of course I watched the game. The game was great. The BS after the game was not. Why don't you simmer down and look in the mirror. Are you part of the crack dealers union? Is that why you are offended?

steelgrlstuckin,
What's your source?  Is that from TMZ, the official source of anything really believable?  If it wasn't TMZ, it can't be considerd.
Besides it was only an arrest with bail.  Any college kid can drop $200K like that.  It's not like he actually did anything!

Btw, I love Rivers. He's a trash-talker himself and he also backs it up. He's also tough-as-nails. He also helped me win my FFL with a team named Rex Rules! He'd be a nice fit with the JetsThey also have something in common that Rviers does not.  Actually making the playoffs this year.

Rivers didn't sing handedly accomplish naything.  And he's never "
backed up" his trash talk.  He hasn't done anything, won anything or even got to the big game.

Sounds to me that Rivers won a fantasy championship somewhere!
So cool!

I love the dorks that come on here and justify a players greatness with fantasy stats.  Probably the same clown that stated earlier this year that "fantasy football was one of the best things the NFL invented".

Hello!  Reality!  Yoo Hoo!

So the class of the NFL has a rapist for a quarterback????

The Jets are far from the class of the NFL!!!!!!!!!!!

LOS ANGELES - Southern California backup quarterback Mark Sanchez was released from jail early Thursday following his arrest for investigation of sexually assaulting a female student, police said.

Sanchez, 19, was arrested around 4 p.m. at an apartment complex near campus. He was released shortly after midnight after posting $200,000 bail, sheriff’s deputy Ban Nguyen said.

Police took DNA and hair samples from Sanchez, the Los Angeles Daily News reported, citing unnamed sources.

Seems like Andy Benoit only likes to report on certain parts of interviews.  What about the rest of this emotional interview with Scott, like his crying that people make fun of coach Ryan's weight or that only Jet players should be allowed to trash talk like the Jets?
You mean the part where he sounded like a mammas boy??
