Ah, who doesn’t love a good Twitter throw-down? Looks like we’ve got a pretty good one on our hands between Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck and Jets CB Antonio Cromartie.

Earlier today, as reported by Pro Football Talk, Hasselbeck tweeted the following: “Somebody ask Cromartie if he knows what CBA stands for.”

Then, Hasselbeck quickly deleted it. It appeared Hasselbeck was taking a shot at Cromartie – and possibly at his nine-kids-by-eight-mothers career – after Cromartie bitched about the labor negotiations between the NFLPA and owners and called union leadership an a------.

Now, Cromartie has responded in kind. Wrote Cromartie: “hey Matt if u have something to then say it (sic) be a man about it. Don't erase it. I will smash ur face in.”

Now, all eyes turn to boxing promoter Don King. When can we get these guys in the ring? After all, we’ll need something to watch/cover when the players are locked out.

UPDATE (3:38 p.m.):
Bad news for those looking for a fight. Tweeted Hasselbeck: "Sorry for the joke man. No hard feelings. DB's & QB's have a hard time getting along I guess sometimes. lol"

Hey Cromartie, why dont you spend a little less time on twitter and use that time to study your kids names.

By the way a little tip, it will be much easier to study them if you first; Remember how many you have and then write that number down so you dont forget.

Good luck Cromartie, after all the first steps in being a good parent are
A) Knowing how many children you have
B) Remembering their names

From here this should be a good basis for you to maybe start spending time with all of them and quit being a piece of s*%# deadbeat. Why dont you do the world a favor and get your s*&@ snipped the last thing the world needs is more bxstxrd children with a dad who doesnt give a f*&# about them or even remember them.

Ahh yes, sounds like another inbred, inner city negro who was great at football, given a full ride along with cash and gifts, (Cam Newton Style), was given "Basket Weaving" as a major pushed through school only to sound dumb as shit when interviewed when tweeting or texting. That's one dumb mother f$#%er !!

One thing is for certain, Cromartie was no English major....if you are going to post something, have someone intelligent read it over and correc.  Cromartie is the poster-boy for The Jets....a bunch of "ignant" cry-babies with big mouths who are short on football talent!

He is to stupid to know how to use a condom. As soon as he is to old to play football any more he will be flat broke. Maybe the players could make him a union rep. It would be great entertainment for the rest of us.

It is what it is. Cromartie is an uneducated punk. That is how the players view him, as well as anyone whom has observed his life or career. He would be bagging groceries or part of a posse if not for being a hell of an athlete.....(IMO) :)
