Nevada police: 'No truth whatsoever' to OJ story

Earlier today, we posted a report that O.J. Simpson had been attacked at a Nevada Correctional Center where he's serving jail time and brutally beaten by a group of skinheads.

That report, coming from The National Enquirer, is false.

"There is no truth to that whatsoever," a Nevada Correctional Facility spokesman told CBSSports.com. "There was no altercation. O.J. is perfectly fine and healthy."

So, that's the good news: O.J. Simpson is safe and sound inside of jail.

The bad news? The National Enquirer has clearly lost all credibility.

That's only a half-joke -- they were white-hot with the Tiger Woods scandal, and it's a little surprising to see them completely whiff here, especially if they've got a -- hopefully not fabricated! -- quote from Juice's former business manager.

Which means maybe they'll be kind enough to hire someone who can go out and find the real assailants (since O.J. no longer has the money for that these days).

"The bad news? The National Enquirer has clearly lost all credibility."

The National Enquirer never was credible.
CBS is the one who lost credibility when they presented a National Enquirer article as fact.

Poor form CBS.

Will, what kind of stupid idiot are you?  You want The National Inquirer to find the REAL killers?  I also got your "white hot" remark.  Too bad for you, OJ is in jail, huh?  Too bad for everyone else, he didnt get his @$$ kicked yet.

The National Enquirer isn't the best  when it comes to TRUTH. Aren't they the ones that post articles on UFO's and stories that Ripleys believe or not would be stunned at,lol?

Then again I'm not sure if I would be contempt with the correctional facility telling us this story is NOT true. If it was thrue it would show that the facilty is not doing their job more or less. Thrue , no prison can watch over these animals all the time and they are under staffed
ps: when and IF OJ. gets get alive, he'll have his day again because is a roaring time bomb

Is this a proposal Will? Have you sent in your resume yet? We all know that this type of pseudojournalism is what you were born to do so just go with it.
