Not much is entertaining about the lockout, but give Chad Ochocinco credit: his excursions into other jobs are pretty interesting. First, he was a "professional" soccer player with the local Kansas City MLS squad, Sporting KC.

Now, Ocho will be joining the PBR on tour. Yes, the Professional Bull Riders. At least that's according to OCNN News.

"#OCNNBreakingNews Due 2 the lockout I'll be participating n the PBR as a professional bull rider n Duluth,GA. May13th-14th Lil Taco #winning," Ochocinco tweeted on Thursday afternoon.

I tried to navigate the PBR website and dig up a press release about this, but I just ended up getting really thirsty.
El Ocho and the Bengals

Instead, I'm going to assume that Ocho will be handling this similarly to his soccer escapade.

Meaning, he'll be out there riding a bull and he'll be a part of the tour and the event, but he won't actually end up in any sort of dangerous position that could compromise his future as a football player.

After all, Ocho might have plenty of money and he might not be playing in Cincinnati next year, but surely he'll be playing somewhere -- provided he doesn't end up getting gored in May or anything.

PBR President and COO Sean Gleason issues formal bull riding challenge to Chad Ochocinco

by on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 4:38pm

With all the Twitter banter coming from Chad Ochocinco about riding a bull at the Built Ford Tough Series event in Georgia this weekend, PBR President and COO Sean Gleason would like to officially extend a challenge to the NFL star.

If Mr. Ochocinco attempts to ride a bull at this weekend's event, the PBR will pay him $10,000. That's assuming the chute opens with Mr. Ochocinco on the back of the bull. If Mr. Ochocinco successfully rides the bull for 8 seconds, the PBR and Built Ford Tough will present him with a brand new 2011 Ford F-150 with the EcoBoost® engine, and allow him to permanently rename the bull as he chooses.

We've got the animal athlete selected and ready to go, one that will fit his questionable riding ability. If Mr. Ochocinco refuses to accept this challenge, the PBR will permanently rename the bull to“#58 No Show Cinco.”

Poll: How many seconds would Chad Ochocinco last on a PBR bucking bull? Vote now: .

Can Chad Johnson possibly be a bigger attention wh0re? Wow, just go away. It's really hard to like this guy, even as a player, when he goes to any length for a headline. How about doing something on the field for a change Chad?
