Raheem Brock, who played for the Seahawks last season but will be a free agent once the lockout ends, was arrested Thursday night after he ran out on a $27 restaurant tab, Philadelphia Magazine reports.

According to MyFoxPhilly.com, the former Temple player allegedly walked out on a bill at the South Street club, Copacabana, before police questioned him nearby. A source told MyFoxPhilly.com that "there [was] a minor struggle and police put Brock under arrest."

PFT.com says Brock was charged with theft and resisting arrest and was released Friday morning without bail.

We've written previously that the lockout isn't strictly a billionaires-vs.-millionaires battle over money. Like most of us, many players rely on their weekly paychecks. They aren't all wealthy enough to take eight months off work with no financial worries. That was the case with Dolphins rookie fullback Charles Clay. Apparently, Brock could use some walking-around money, too.

Too bad he didn't call Roger Goodell for a loan before allegedly dining and dashing.

Meanwhile, Ray Lewis nods knowingly.

First folks read the previous CBA. Player can opt for several methods of payment. And most minimum salary players opt for weekly checks as opposed to game checks. While the high signing bonus, roster bonus, and workout bonus earning players can opt for lump sum game checks. The ignorance level on this site is often displayed by the boggers and writers but give credit when they get it right this time! Second, no way he didn't have the money to pay, he more than likely just felt he did or shouldn't have to pay.

@J-E-T-S-Fan, Actually they do get paid on a weekly basis. They get their checks on Tuesdays. I only know this because I know a special teams player on the Bucs and he showed me a stub once. this was only a couple of years ago and if they have changed the policy in the last two years I would say the writer has it right!

@KingBishop99--The writer does not have it right by any means.  NFL players get game checks.  They do not get paid for 52 weeks a year and never have.  Did your buddy show you his paystub during the season?  They will get minimal checks for camps and whatnot,  but their main money comes during the season from their gameday checks.

This lockout has gone too far.Time to call your player's rep and sign on the dotted line and if and when they do, start learning to save some money for a rainy day like the most of us do. Now instead of spending $35 ($27 plus tips, lol) he'll be spending more paying his lawyer and all. Stupid !!!!
