Adam "Pacman" Jones arrested again

Aside from Titans WR Kenny Britt, which NFL player would least surprise you by getting arrested in this locked out offseason? If you said Bengals CB Adam “Pacman” Jones, you’re absolutely correct.

According to WLWT in Cincinnati, Jones was handcuffed early this morning after he refused to cooperate with police officers at a local bar. WKRC reports Jones has been charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated and resisting arrest.

JonesWitnesses told police that Jones was intoxicated and disruptive. After getting into an argument, he was asked to leave but refused. Police were then called, but still, Jones apparently refused to depart. As officers tried to arrest him, police say Jones tried to slip out of the handcuffs and that it took two officers to restrain him. He was booked into Hamilton County jail about 3 a.m.

You’ll recall that Jones was arrested last year after a case of mistaken identity -- the Cincinnati police actually had to apologize to Jones -- but for a guy whose wages were garnished because of unpaid invoices to a high end car company, you’d think Jones would be more concerned with keeping his job in Cincinnati than in NOT leaving a bar when asked (by police!).

Of course, for a guy who’s been in as much trouble as Jones has been in the past, this latest clash with police is certainly not a surprise. And, once again, he might face a long suspension for his alleged actions. For Jones, who was suspended for the entire 2007 season, that would not be good news.

Adam "Pacman" Jones arrested again

Don't know if you'll get this or not, but MikeSyr18, I have NEVER, and I say it with proud confidence, called anyone a slur or outside their name. For one, I don't waste my time being mad or hating someone. Also, I don't call my friends or anyone else for that matter the "N-word". I think its wrong for us to use it just as whites, so don't talk about what you don't know. There are some people that live, or at least try to, the right way. What you wrote is a taught action. Like you said, "Offending words are double standard in the American society." Why offend someone? To make yourself feel better? I don't have time to do that. And about your last comment of "It's a joke. Who care, get over it?" That's child's play to say that. Life is fun and should be celebrated, but there's nothing laughable about calling someone outside their name. This society has lost its humanity of caring and respecting one another.

So you're telling me when you get pissed off, you don't use words that would normall "offend" other people?

If you say you don't, you're lying.

Offending words are double standards in the American society.

For some reason, it's okay for colored people to say the "n word" to each other, but when a white man says it to a colored person, or to another white person, it's wrong.

It's okay for girls to call each other the "c word", but a girl gets really pissed and offended when a guy uses it.

It's a joke. Who cares, and get over it.

Did a little more research and found some of Mike's comments like this one about the DeSean Jackson slur issue:

"CBS makes such a big deal out of racism, and stuff like the words "gay" and other things.

Truth is, these are only sounds coming from out mouths and shapes written so people can communicate.

Don't make such a big deal of something, somebody who is "gay" or "colored" shouldn't worry so much about what other people think or take offense too. People call me stupid all the time... but I don't take offense to that. American's need to learn how to lighten up and understand people get pissed and say stuff like this."
Soooo.... Someone thinks it's okay to use slurs like that? I think I just wasted my time commenting on the whole issue here, because you're not gonna make sense to someone who thinks like Mike does...... Done and best wishes.....

@ Chubare....to make a blank statement about me having the color issue is wreckalce endangerment. Anytime someone shows another view of something portrayed, you're too quick to say "Oh, you must have the color issue!" I don't have any color issue (please see the very next post I did of what I think of Pacman). But whne someone makes a generalization of a particular group, then it must be defended when that statement is wrong. I suggest, before making blind accusations, you read some of my posts on here. I will research and show wrongs to be wrong where needed, but I give my opinions based on INDIVIDUALS, not classes, races, or genders. Believe it or not, some people get on here and believe EVERYTHING they read. All I did was level the playing field and show why his statement was erroneous.

Point taken: however, seems you have the color issue. I'm sure you've seen his actions and how he has never done any of the charges charged with. I'm not trying to prove you wrong. Just ask yourself are you standing in "Pacmans" corner?
