Apparently, the quantity of people (if not the quality) who decide to spew vile all over Vikings QB Donovan McNabb continues to grow.

You remember Bill Romanowski, right? He was a two-time Pro Bowler, but he was also a jerk, kicking opponents in the head, spitting in other people’s faces and ending a teammate’s career by blasting his eye socket. So, good dude, right?

And it makes him the perfect person to comment on somebody with whom he never played, right? Right? Hello?

Either way, Romanowski was on Jim Rome’s radio show today and, well, he acted just like you’d expect -- he did his best Bernard Hopkins impersonation and ripped the hell out of McNabb for, as far as I can tell, no reason at all.

“The reason why Donovan McNabb is not in Washington right now is because he was lazy,” Romanowski said, via “He didn’t spend the time. Mike Shanahan likes guys who will work really hard. I narrow it down to two things. He’s either lazy, or he’s not very bright to pick up the offense. One or the other. I think he’s bright enough, I just think he was lazy.”

And, just for the hell of it, Rome asked how Romanowski would act around Broncos QB Tim Tebow?

“I would want to lay him out and put him into next year,” Romanowski said. “I’d have him so messed up mentally he’d be like, ‘Oh, God, this Romanowski is crazy.’”

Um, crazy wasn’t the word I was thinking about.

Romanowski took steriods because he was to lazy to put in the work on his on, so he shouldn"t talk

So using the logic of many people on these boards, anyone in baseball who took steriods is unqualified to talk about baseball? So David Ortiz has no right to talk about any DH. A-Rod has no right to talk about any shortstop or third base. So he took steriods, honestly, who cares? Romanowski played under Shanahan, so really he can comment about the situation. It basically became an argument of Shanahan vs. Mcnabb, and any player who played for the coach definately can speak up on the coach's behalf. He wasnt shouting off for no reason, read the entire quote, it has to do with the situation between Mike Shanahan and Donovan Mcnabb.

Look at this clown in this picture above. If you painted his face up, he'd look just like the Joker in the first Batman movie!! This guys is/was and always will be a scumbag! He needed drugs to up his play in the NFL. If he really thinks people care what he says, then he really is a clown!!

I wouldn't say that McNabb was lazy or dumb. He was a good QB back in the day with the Eagles. I think his biggest downfall was he couldn't stomach the really important high pressure games. Sorry Vikes. He's not going to take you to the promised land. A good QB but no HOFer.

For what Mcnabb was able to do in philly all things condsidered, he is a borderline hall of fame qb. I would even say if he were to make another apperance in an nfc championship game you would have to consider him. Mcnabb is a ring away from being in the hall in most peoples eyes. If somebody is even THAT close doesn't that mean they are a great player at least? Only a hall of famer is better than a great player.....

As for wasington, maybe donny didn't have the playbook down like he did in philly , but even if he did what tools did he have? seriously he had worse tool around him than he had in a lot of years in philly. I was hoping he went to the viking last year where he would have a good run game and playmaking TE. Mcnabb only needs to throw the ball 15-20 times a game. he was never the guy who could win it throwing 35-40 times a game. He was just never consistent when it was all on his shoulders. he needed what he'll have now which is a solid run game and a commitment to it. Mcnabb doesn't turn the ball over often so combine that with the beast that is AP and look out!!the vikings looking at that wildcard spot.
Bill. You were the kind of jerk that got away with alot of stuff other guys were heavenly fined for. Your only being asked to make comments, because, well. You know. It had nothing to do with your cheap shot playing ability. Man, was I biting my tongue on this one.
