Last week, some pictures of Gisele Bundchen (wife of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady) walking on the beach made the rounds on the Internet. They were only different from "normal pictures of Gisele making the rounds on the Internet" in that they featured some naked pictures of Brady and Bundchen's 20-month-old son.

Yeah, I feel creepy writing that sentence, which is kind of why we didn't post them. Barstool Sports did post them, though, and caused quite a stir. Enough of a stir, in fact, that the Massachusetts Attorney General sent some detectives to the home of Barstool founder David Portnoy.

"We asked Mr. Portnoy to remove the postings and appreciate that he voluntarily chose to do so," a spokesman for Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley said, via The Smoking Gun.

Patriots Preseason

Now, TSG speculates that the Patriots may have had a hand in suppressing the photo. And perhaps that's true. Or maybe it was just Brady? Either way it's fine, since it's a naked infant on the Internet.

And the vague scene that's described with respect to the detectives showing up is straight out of a terrible Will Smith movie: they apparently rolled up to Portnoy's office on Friday afternoon and "convinced" him to remove the pictures.

The likely reality? They mentioned that, as of right now, there wasn't any need to investigate anything relating to child pornography ... but it could happen. And with that staring him down, Portnoy quickly yanked the photos.

Which is good, since there's no reason for anyone's kid to be featured naked on the Internet.

This is just a creepy story and paparazzi just went below the cockroach on the food chain! Enough is enough with these money hungry jabronis! Wanna know why these bozos sit in there cars, waiting for a glimpse of a celebrity, or in this case, the naked child of a celebrity couple, because they are not qualified to do anything else! These pieces of garbage do nothing but ruin lives...Princess Diana, God bless her, lost her life because these maggots were surrounding their car at high speed...then, instead of helping her and her boyfriend, they started snapping away! To most of these paparazzi, rot in hell scum! I do know there are some people trying to make a buck but shows like TMZ are giving these people more reason the cross any line possible. The decay of society apparently starts behind a camera lens. Sorry for my rant, having a newborn, this enraged me!

she's Brazillian - in S. America, like parts of Europe, this is common.  hardly any babies wear suits in the hot sun.  This wouldn't even be a story there.  USA is a bit prude.  However, because the media know the US is a bit prude, they need to chill on the pictures of nakie beach babies, seeing as while I see them often enough here on the beaches of Cali, it isn't something one takes pictures of for publication to the world at large.

It would probably be a good idea for people, especially celebrities, to not allow their children to walk around naked in public.  You just have to be very careful with that kind of thing nowadays.  With email and the internet, things can get out and spread extremely fast.

Exactly, that's what I'm saying.  Tom Brady and his wife know there is no such thing as privacy when you're both celebrities like they are. Is that fair? Probably not.  But that's reality, like it or not and that will never change.  So either Tom Brady and his little wife can deal with reality or they can't, their choice.  The paparrazzi may be the biggest scumbags of the earth but they are not being stopped and never will be stopped.... so either Tom and his wife accept this and protect themselves or they don't, once again that's their choice.

If it were a public beach then it would be a different story, since Brady and his wife would not have a reasonable expectation of privacy--but it being private property renders all else irrelevent.

Being inside you home with windows closed and doors shut gives you a reasonable expectation of privacy.. not on a beach in broad daylight private or not. And as celebs they should be aware long range camera's.

For those all up in arms over the picture of a naked baby, curious what your thoughts are of Nirvanna's nevermind album?

No sir, it is you who has become 'stupider' as time goes on. This involves a child who happens to be the child of a celebrity couple.
Only a moron such as you would use free speech to defend the publication of these photos. Get a life!
How did you become an "all star" without an ounce of sense and no morals?

The pictures were taken on Brady's property, which is private and as such taking the pictures and posting them on the net is a violation of privacy.
If it were a public beach then it would be a different story, since Brady and his wife would not have a reasonable expectation of privacy--but it being private property renders all else irrelevent. A scum bag paparazzi with a large zoom lense has no right to take those pictures and post them on the web, and whether Tom and Giselle can afford a bathing suit is a non factor--they are entitled to the same expectations of their privacy as anyone else.

Naked pics of Tom Brady's son spark police visit

I know a lot of people don't like Tom Brady, and that's fine.  But for God's sake, this is his kid.  The frickin' paparrazzi are the scum of the earth.  Just because someone is famous doesn't mean that they should have to put up with photographers following them around in their daily lives photographing every little thing they do.  Every time one of these celebrities scratches their ass it ends up on TMZ.  Whats worse is the fact that these telephoto lenses (like what was used in this case) now mean that these people don't even get privacy in their own house.  It's pathetic.

This is even worse, since it's a 2 year old kid getting thrown up on the internet.  The kid isn't a celebrity, he's a kid.  If some took a naked picture of my kid and put it on the internet I'd want to go after them with a baseball bat.  I don't care what the circumstances are.  Public, private, whatever.  You just don't do that.  People, even celebrities, have the right to live their lives without being harassed by these scumbags.
