Throughout Monday and Tuesday, teams will be scrambling to get their rosters down to 80 players before the league-imposed deadline of 4 p.m. EST on Tuesday. (Teams must be down to a 53-man roster before Saturday.)

There will be lots of names you've never heard of and/or don't know, but that's OK. We'll track those various cuts here anyway, so feel free to bookmark this page and come back early and often to keep up-to-date on who your team's getting rid of.

-- Tuesday --
  • The Redskins announced that one of their cuts to get to 80 was waiving injured receiver Malcolm Kelly. The team also released offensive lineman Corey O'Daniel, defensive back Dante Barnes, defensive back Tyrone Grant and tight end Joe Torchia.
  • The Chargers announced they have released long snapper David Binn -- the longest-tenured player in team history. Said general manager A.J. Smith in a statement: "This was a hard decision; one of our most difficult. David has been the ultimate professional. He’s a team-first guy and a perfectionist at his craft. His hard work and dedication made him one of the best long snappers ever to play the game." Binn played 17 years for San Diego.
  • The Chiefs announced that they put offensive lineman Ryan O'Callaghan on injured reserve and cut kicker Todd Carter.
  • The Seahawks announced that they cut defensive tackle Jay Alford and safety Rickey Thenarse to get to the 80-man roster limit.
  • The Bills announced Tuesday that they cut linebacker Brad Jefferson, putting them at 80 players on the roster.
  • The Packers announced that they released wide reciever Antonio Robinson and that they'll have two more roster cuts coming some time Tuesday in order to get to 80.
  • The Steelers announced they've gotten down to 80 players on Tuesday morning, by cutting linebacker Chris Ellis, wide receiver Terrence McCrae, cornerback Niles Brinkley and defensive tackle Anthony Gray.
  • The Lions informed fullback Jerome Felton that they were cutting him on Tuesday. [NFL Network]
-- Monday --
  • The Seahawks have released receiver Chris Carter, cornerback Jesse Hoffman, linebacker Neal Howey, guard Zach Hurd, receiver Brandon Smith, fullback Ryan Travis, defensive tackle Teryl White and receiver Patrick Williams.
  • The Titans waived defensive tackle Jovan Haye, safety Nick Schommer, quarterback Brett Ratliff, fullback Patrick Hills, receiver Owen Spencer, linebackers Jonathan Cornell and Kevin Malast, punter Chad Cunningham and long snapper John Stokes.
  • The Jaguars cut quarterback Todd Bouman, linebacker Gerris Wilkinson and wideout Greg Ellingson.
  • The Patriots surprised lots of folks when they cut safety James Sanders on Monday. Additionally, they have reportedly cut wide receivers Tyree Barnes and Darnell Jenkins, running back Eric Kettani, and defensive end Clay Nurse. [Boston Herald]
  • The Cowboys cut center Andre Gurode, which should save them about $5.5 million in salary. [DallasCowboys.com]
  • The Bears officially have cut defensive linemen Vernon Gholston and Tank Tyler, quarterback Trevor Vittatoe, center J.C. Brignone and linebacker Tanner Antle. Those cuts got them to the 80-man roster, so they don't have to cut Chester Taylor today, though it's believed it'll happen Monday afternoon.
  • The Bears have reportedly already informed running back Chester Taylor that he's been cut. The lesson as always? Don't complain about playing time. [CBSSports.com]
  • The Chiefs waived seven players on Monday, they announced. Linebacker Eric Bakhtiari, running back Tervaris Johnson, defensive backs Javes Lewis and Mario Russell, and wide receivers Chandler Williams, Josue Paul and Chris Manno were all cut.
  • The Broncos announced seven cuts on Monday afternoon: running back C.J. Gable, cornerback Nate Jones, linebackers Braxton Kelley and Deron Mayo, offensive linemen Curt Porter and Shawn Murphy and defensive lineman David Veikune.
  • The Lions announced that they cut eight players on Monday morning: wide receiver Demario Ballard, running back Mike Bell, tight end Richard Dickson, linebacker DeJuan Fulgham, wide receiver Marcus Harris, defensive back Michael Johnson, kicker Dave Rayner and defensive tackle Montavious Stanley.
  • The Vikings cut 10 players on Monday morning, including quarterback Rhett Bomar, on Monday morning. [CBSSports.com]
  • The Steelers announced that they're down to 84 on Monday, having cut tight end Vaughn Charlton, cornerback Kevin Dockery, wide receiver Eric Greenwood, wide receiver Kenneth Moore and tight end Miguel Chavis.

Don't be suprised if Malcom Kelly does not find a new home in St. Louis. He and Bradford were magic at Oklahoma and it would be crazy if they don't give him a chance to see if that magic is still there.
