Much ado has been made of the hamstring injury that Arian Foster's suffered on Saturday night as the Texans beat down San Francisco in the preseason.

And Foster told Gregg Doyel and me on Tuesday that his hamstring is doing just fine. But don't just listen to the podcast for that evidence (though you should do that anyway, duh) -- you can see the proof yourself courtesy of, of course, a recent tweet from Foster which featured an MRI of his hammy.

"This is an MRI of my hamstring, The white stuff surrounding the muscle is known in the medical world as anti-awesomeness," Foster tweeted on Wednesday.

"If I had a "significant injury" why post it?" Foster added on Twitter later in the afternoon. "I'll be fine, it was jus meant to make fun of the whole situation. Humor is lost nowadays."

Look, Foster's got a point here. If this MRI showed his leg being broken in half, there wouldn't be anything amusing about it. And he's indicated over and over that he'll be fine, but pretty clearly he's dealing with a hamstring injury. No one is debating this.

There's some chatter that this injury could be a "three-to-four week" healing process, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll miss that time, just that the Texans might take it easy with their workhorse.

That's the smart thing to do if you're in charge of keeping the 2010 NFL rushing leader healthy, regardless of what fantasy owners want.

THANKS FOR POSTING THE PICTURE!

Thanks gang for posting the picture of Arian Foster's MRI of his hamstrung leg.  You, know in all of my medical expertise, my hypotenuse is confirmed, that all this does is promulgate the uneasy feeling to pass on Arian at number 2 in my fantasy draft that he hates so much.  Since I am obvious medical doctor and I not only know what I am looking at but can judge how much time Arian should miss...

CUT THE CRAP.  We dont know jack!  What I do know is I am no doctor.  I dont care to see an MRI of something I know nothing about.  What I do know is Arian is doing a lot of joking around about this and I would rather avoid the bad karma he could be bringing on himself.
Thank you Chris Johnson for signing your tender...now I know who to take in my twisted game that is not reality....oh wait...cant I say the same thing about football itself????

You really had to look up anti-awesomeness to realize it was not a legit medical term?

I looked it up. "anti-awesomeness" is not a real medical word. Once again this is Arian being Arian. He has such a high opinion of himself that he feels that he can make up words to describe his injury. He thinks that he is awesome and the leg inury he suffered had stuff that counteracted his awesomeness...thus the word "anti-awesomeness" was born. Foster should have just said that he suffered a tear or that he suddenly came down with a serious case of Kryptonite leg. All athletes should be banned from using Twitter. Nothing good can come from it.

Did you ever hear of a keeper League?  Theres a person in my league who took vick last year.  This year he kept him and got the #1 pick so he has Vick, AP, and he also got gates in the 3rd.  And this is just with 1 keeper.  So it is possible to have those guys on a team.  Whats the purpose of lying about fanbtasy football?

Exactly.  I love all these people who have 2 or 3 first round picks on their team.  They either lie, or play in a league with idiots.  There is actually a term for this person on Urban Dictionary:  "Fantasy Douche"

Hey buddy, how does your squad look.   "Well, I have Vick, Arian Foster, Andre Johnson, and Antonio Gates".   Sure you do buddy.
