Foster will be a game-day decision vs. Saints

If Arian Foster isn’t healthy, he won’t play Sunday vs. the Saints. That’s the line, anyway, from Texans coach Gary Kubiak who said Friday that the team won’t make the decision on Foster until just before the game.

“We need Arian, as I tell you all the time," Kubiak said, via the Houston Chronicle. "We need to have all our best players on the field. But at the same time we're listening to Arian, listening to the doctors, and we'll come up with the best decision for the football team on Sunday.

"He's had good work this week but we've limited him a little bit so as not to over-load him, and we'll see how he responds."

Foster has been a nightmare for fantasy football users -- and you people are sick for even thinking so; and well, NFL.com is kind of sick for using this ad. He was inactive the first week, but after playing in the first half of Week 2, he pulled himself out of the game when his hamstring tightened. Foster said earlier this week that his hamstring felt better, but Ben Tate also likely will get the start this Sunday.

On Friday, Foster greeted reporters by saying, “I feel wonderful today.” Then, he went on to say: “I'm not sure how to gauge progress anymore. It's tough. It's more mental than anything. It's not something you can really push through (and) play with. You've got to be patient. But I'm working hard and it feels like it's coming along. I'll keep fighting the good fight."

And all his fantasy owners fans will be watching with great interest.

Foster will be a game-day decision vs. Saints

Ben Tate has filled in admirably since Foster has gone down.  This should be a shoot-out type of game with two high powered offenses on the field.  I like the Texans, and who knows with Indy's iffy season so far.  It just might be the year of the Texans in the AFC South.

Kubiak is full of $hit ! No way Foster sees the field ! What ? and agravate the hammy even further ? The Saints are not buying it either. Tate all the way !

Maybe that was his picture(MRI) he tweeted, the one with the torn hammy. Texas got mad and fined him for tweeting it. Later Foster came back and said he was only playing with the media and that wasn't really his MRI. Makes you wonder? I'm a Foster owner and wish I knew how serious his injury was before our draft. It would have pushed Tate up my draft board. I missed out on Tate but it could have been worse, I could have got Jamal Charles. I don't wish injuries on anyone and in terms of FF, it sucks but I hope Foster can come back healthy sooner rather than later.

As for the Texans, they are not missing a thing. Ben Tate has been a beast and Foster may become #2, Tate was a second round pick but injuries forced him to miss his rookie year. Foster seized his opportunity and led the league in rushing, my how the tables are turning. Good luck Arian, this injury may have cost him millions!
