Report: Jerome Harrison has brain tumor

The Jerome Harrison-Ronnie Brown trade that was voided Wednesday between the Lions and the Eagles was thwarted by a brain tumor found in Harrison during a routine physical.

That’s the report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who writes, “Without trade, Jerome Harrison doesn't get physical. Without physical, doctors don't find brain tumor. Trade might have saved his life.”

Now, the disappointment some might have felt when the trade fell through Wednesday has to be tempered by the fortuitous discovery made by the Eagles doctors.

Do they know if it is malignant???? I suppose they still have to get rid of it being that is on his brain, I dont know a whole lot about it. Good luck to him and his family.

If this is an actual true happening, maybe the NFL should not only do drug testing but give periodic physicals to all players through the course of the year.

Report: Jerome Harrison has brain tumor

The Lions doctors would have given him a physical in August when they signed him.  It is very possible that the tumor started at some point in the past two months, in which case there is no way the doctors would have found anything.

Best wishes to Jerome Harrison.  Pretty incredible that an attempt to trade him might end up saving his life.  Hopefully he scores the winning touchdown in this battle.

Best of luck to Jerome!  Certainly hope it's something they can take care of!

With that said, wondering why the Lions doctors didn't notice this when they brought him in????

That's roughly what Karma is...
There's a bit more to it than doing good because then good will come to you
It's a lot less "specific" than that
More accurately it could be explained as such:
By doing good we create an environment where good becomes the norm and good is experienced by all - there is rarely a Karmic belief system where good directly receives good in an exact exchange... it's not a video game - it's a consciousness

I am shocked, without the phtsical examination done for the trade it would not even be detected, all the best to Jerome Harrison, hope he gets passed this and recover 100 percent healthy again.

Best of luck to Jerome.  He was a huge bright spot on the Browns two years ago.  I'd love for him to come back to town and meet all the amazing oncologists at the Clinic.

Karma is the belief that if you do good things you will get good things in return.  Why not just do good things?  You Karma people are deceptively selfish.

I wish this guy all the best.

How do we Get rid of this tool from the site? What a waste of a life. This is not a joke and keep in mind...karma is a bitch and I sure would not want to be in your shoes....."
