We probably won't know Ndamukong Suh's fate until Monday or Tuesday, but that doesn't mean it's still not one of the biggest stories of Week 12. Suh, one of the Lions' best players, was ejected from the Thanksgiving Day game against the Packers for stomping on Green Bay guard Evan Dietrich-Smith's arm.

On Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Suh is expected to be suspended for at least two games.

Is Ndamukong Suh dirty?

After the his ejection Thursday, Suh offered up a lame excuse for his actions before apologizing a day later on his Facebook page.

Suh said he's now ready to move on from the incident.

"I want to reiterate my commitment to working to become a better player, and professional—on and off the field. My reaction on Thursday was unacceptable. I made a mistake, and have learned from it. I hope to direct the focus back to the task at hand — by winning," Suh wrote on Facebook.

But it's not enough to just say you're sorry and you're ready to get on with the rest of your life. In addition to how severely the NFL will punish him, there are also concerns in the Lions' locker room about Suh's antics. Specifically, some of his teammates are also tired of it. NFL Network's Jason La Canfora confirmed as much during Sunday's NFL GameDay Morning.

"The interesting thing, there are people in his own locker room that think [a suspension's] called for," La Canfora said.

Does a reported two-game punishment fit the crime? No idea. (Worth noting: CBSSports.com's Mike Freeman warns that, given NFL commissioner Roger Goodell's history of suspending players, we shouldn't expect a huge punishment for Suh.) But if it's to the point where Suh's teammates are fed up, then maybe a stiffer sanction will have a better chance of getting through to him, and in his words, help him "to become a better player, and professional—on and off the field."

The Packers player that this assbag stomped on should press charges for assault.

Stomping is ILLEGAL in sports and in life, my friends.

WHAT! WHAT!! WHAT!!!!! 2 games!!!! The leauge needs to drop a sledge hammer on this guy! 1 game for each time he smashed his head into the ground, 3 games for the kick, a bonus 1 game for being completely removed from reality. $100,000 fine and additionialy, he should be required to participate in anger management counseling for at least six months before being allowed to participate in ANY NFL or team activities. This isnt a joke! This guy is in the NFL remember that is supposed to be a privledge he is supposed to be a role model. By the way Iam not buying this crud he says hes learned his lesson, thats bull! We all know that the only reason he said that was because the Detroit front office problebly forced him to. Get this one right Commish hammer this guy, maybe then will he have learned his lesson.

If people don't think there is a 'good old boy' network in the NFL (like anywhere else) you are sadly mistaken.  The Packers make these men a ton of money because of the tradition and fan following.  Certain teams (Steelers, Packers, etc) get an advantage with the officials.  If you don't believe this I suggest you watch a game - especially in Lambeau.  It actually gets embarassing at times how bad the officiating can be and how differently the game is called for both teams.

Not exactly sure who your talking to Andrewjone211, but maybe you should try to zero in on the specific person that you were debateing with instead of acting like all Lions fans are defending him!! I'm a Lions fan here and you can check my previous post on it, I've never said anything but he should be put out for at least 2 games! And as a matter of fact I would say at least 90% of Lions fans on here have said the same thing! So why don't you take 94 people who agree with you and go jump off a cliff!! GO LIONS

Oh Yeah and 1 More Thing Lions Fans..

, how many people agree with you that he SHOULDNT be suspended? ESPN analysts, NFL.com analysts everyone agrees this guy is out of control.

You want to say people are being unfair? You don't realize you are defending this guy. That's like saying a thief shouldn't be punished because lots of other people steal and don't get caught. Lions fans i'm glad for once in your lives you have a team to cheer for, but don't be delusional about this you're wrong.

Wait so I'm supposed to get a life because I took 5 minutes out of my day to make a petition, but you're ok when you spend hours trolling CBSsports.com comments? At least a petition is constructive, your comments are empty. What have you done with your life lately?

You probably shouldn't say anything about getting a life when you spend all your time trolling forums and blogs my friend :)

You sound sooo proud to live in that hell hole.  I wouldn't be bragging about high crime rates if I were you
