We probably won't know Ndamukong Suh's fate until Monday or Tuesday, but that doesn't mean it's still not one of the biggest stories of Week 12. Suh, one of the Lions' best players, was ejected from the Thanksgiving Day game against the Packers for stomping on Green Bay guard Evan Dietrich-Smith's arm.

On Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Suh is expected to be suspended for at least two games.

Is Ndamukong Suh dirty?

After the his ejection Thursday, Suh offered up a lame excuse for his actions before apologizing a day later on his Facebook page.

Suh said he's now ready to move on from the incident.

"I want to reiterate my commitment to working to become a better player, and professional—on and off the field. My reaction on Thursday was unacceptable. I made a mistake, and have learned from it. I hope to direct the focus back to the task at hand — by winning," Suh wrote on Facebook.

But it's not enough to just say you're sorry and you're ready to get on with the rest of your life. In addition to how severely the NFL will punish him, there are also concerns in the Lions' locker room about Suh's antics. Specifically, some of his teammates are also tired of it. NFL Network's Jason La Canfora confirmed as much during Sunday's NFL GameDay Morning.

"The interesting thing, there are people in his own locker room that think [a suspension's] called for," La Canfora said.

Does a reported two-game punishment fit the crime? No idea. (Worth noting: CBSSports.com's Mike Freeman warns that, given NFL commissioner Roger Goodell's history of suspending players, we shouldn't expect a huge punishment for Suh.) But if it's to the point where Suh's teammates are fed up, then maybe a stiffer sanction will have a better chance of getting through to him, and in his words, help him "to become a better player, and professional—on and off the field."

First of all, Suh is a terrific talent. However, this guy has real anger problems. Matt Slausen the Jets guard who was his teammate @ Nebraska, ripped him for his actions and said he needs help. He also said @ Nebreaska he was respected, but not well-liked. He also said Suh doesn't play just hard, but to hurt players and seems to enjoy it. This should not only worry the league, but NFLPA. Do they want one of their own going rogue hurting players?

The NFL should suspend him 2 games and fine him $75,000. They should donote that money to groups that deal with anger management. Then the NFLPA should step in and offer him anger management classes. They should foot the bill. That way both the NFL and union are working together and being proactive here to help the player and safety of the league.

Suh's coach should also get rebuked for his actions. How much of a role model was he with Harbaugh? Seems like he has a short fuse as well. Maybe he should attend those classes with Suh. Maybe both can learn something.

The NFL should emphasize playing hard and clean. When someone crosses the line, act swiftly and make sure its known, it won't be tolerated again. That's not punitive, that just right.

Well said Pizzazz. The comment that made me chuckle was his commentsomething along the lines of, "if I want to hurt someone I am going to hurt the QB, which I have been doing".  Really Suh, did you see your stat line for the Packer game? 1 tackle, no sacks, and no qb hurries. Sitting him isn't gonna make a difference, he still plays out of control, it's who he is.

brian8ball, do you try to break up your sentences like that? Dude, that shit is unreadable and it's very hard to take anything you say seriously. I've insulted you about it several time thinking maybe you'd attempt to fix it, but to no avail! And I'd just like say that you do come across as  small angry man...that has a mental issue and some sorta vandeta against the Lions! Don't go away mad, just go away!

Just watched this clown's post game interview and if he thinks he's going to convince anyone that his actions weren't venomous then he should enjoy the Kool Aid and dance with the Tin Man.  I don't watch football but this story, the video and the post game interview caught my eye.  You don't have to be a football fan to see that he was being a childish loon.

He should Man-Up and apologize in real life in front of a camera and not hide behind his Facebook page.
How lame is that''''''''''''''''

Didn't he just meet with Goddell in New York a few weeks ago about this type of behavior as well.

He need a 4-5 game suspension to make it hit home.

Let's see if Goddell is man enought to give him more then 2.
