We probably won't know Ndamukong Suh's fate until Monday or Tuesday, but that doesn't mean it's still not one of the biggest stories of Week 12. Suh, one of the Lions' best players, was ejected from the Thanksgiving Day game against the Packers for stomping on Green Bay guard Evan Dietrich-Smith's arm.

On Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Suh is expected to be suspended for at least two games.

Is Ndamukong Suh dirty?

After the his ejection Thursday, Suh offered up a lame excuse for his actions before apologizing a day later on his Facebook page.

Suh said he's now ready to move on from the incident.

"I want to reiterate my commitment to working to become a better player, and professional—on and off the field. My reaction on Thursday was unacceptable. I made a mistake, and have learned from it. I hope to direct the focus back to the task at hand — by winning," Suh wrote on Facebook.

But it's not enough to just say you're sorry and you're ready to get on with the rest of your life. In addition to how severely the NFL will punish him, there are also concerns in the Lions' locker room about Suh's antics. Specifically, some of his teammates are also tired of it. NFL Network's Jason La Canfora confirmed as much during Sunday's NFL GameDay Morning.

"The interesting thing, there are people in his own locker room that think [a suspension's] called for," La Canfora said.

Does a reported two-game punishment fit the crime? No idea. (Worth noting: CBSSports.com's Mike Freeman warns that, given NFL commissioner Roger Goodell's history of suspending players, we shouldn't expect a huge punishment for Suh.) But if it's to the point where Suh's teammates are fed up, then maybe a stiffer sanction will have a better chance of getting through to him, and in his words, help him "to become a better player, and professional—on and off the field."

And someone should start a petition for you to get a life.
Everyone knows I am no Lions fan but I am less of a fan of people who lie to try and prove a point.Suh does not,I REPEAT
DOES NOT,he is a large strong man and he does not try and hurt players on a weekly basis. Why would you have to make
up lies if you want to prove a point. He hit a few QBS late but he does not do it every week.

What about a petition to ban a player who continues to head hunt every week and when asked about it says he enjoys it.

Like the Steelers Harrison

Dam you took the world right out of my mouth. i agree suh needs to be suspended so maybe it will teach him because like i say you cant fine a rich man it wont work, but take his livly hood from him he will think twice next time. but wow has this story stretched in the last few days.

"Didn't yousee the apology he read that was prepare by the Lions Press people.
He sounded like a man who knew he did wrong.DIDN'T HE??????????????"

No, he didn't call the guy he stomped on and specifically said, 'I got into the moment and lost focus and I sincerely apologize for my actions'. Instead, he threw a tamptrum like a damn infant, lied to the press, and wrote a letter (never did he say I'm sorry in that)...pathetic. The rest of the season he should be watching from the sidelines. If the head coach wasn't a freaking gutless punk himself, he would make him watch from the sidelines and support his teamates and watch how they professional they act. Suh is a pathetic excuse for a human being, he's a cancer.

Suspend Ndamukong Suh for the Rest of the Season

I have created a , and here's why...

Suh hasn't learned his lesson yet, and his comments just show how arrogant he is towards what he has done. A few game suspension will just be like the fines for this guy, he won't learn a thing. Suh needs to be suspended for the rest of the season, and then the NFL can evaluate him next year.

The problem isn't that he did one thing wrong, it's that he keeps trying to hurt other players on a weekly basis, and doesn't even understand what he's doing.

Suh could be a great player. But for now he's just a headhunter. I've seen him twist the QB's headgear off, when the play was over. He isn't trying to tackle, he's trying to injure. It's deliberate! Now that he's done something, on a nationally televised game, that was so bad that lots of people wouldn't mind if he was gone for the year. Whatever the suspention is, it should come with the stipulation that if anything like this happens again, the next punishment will be a year's suspention. Followed by a lifetime ban if none of this gets through. I say this because after the game, he was still in denial. Claiming all kinds of stupid crap that didn't happen. Then his heartfelt apology on friday, when the team MADE HIM actually apologize. He still thinks he's above it all, well he's not. And the sooner he realizes that, the better off he will be.

The fair punishment would be suspension for the rest of the season.  This is not a one time thing with this guy.  He's a thug who needs to get the message.  Hopefully, Goodell will deliver it.

If Suh continues to assault players on the opposing team he better renegotiate his contract with Chrysler now, as this may be his only decent income, because at the rate he is going he will eventually get a lifetime suspension.
