We probably won't know Ndamukong Suh's fate until Monday or Tuesday, but that doesn't mean it's still not one of the biggest stories of Week 12. Suh, one of the Lions' best players, was ejected from the Thanksgiving Day game against the Packers for stomping on Green Bay guard Evan Dietrich-Smith's arm.

On Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Suh is expected to be suspended for at least two games.

Is Ndamukong Suh dirty?

After the his ejection Thursday, Suh offered up a lame excuse for his actions before apologizing a day later on his Facebook page.

Suh said he's now ready to move on from the incident.

"I want to reiterate my commitment to working to become a better player, and professional—on and off the field. My reaction on Thursday was unacceptable. I made a mistake, and have learned from it. I hope to direct the focus back to the task at hand — by winning," Suh wrote on Facebook.

But it's not enough to just say you're sorry and you're ready to get on with the rest of your life. In addition to how severely the NFL will punish him, there are also concerns in the Lions' locker room about Suh's antics. Specifically, some of his teammates are also tired of it. NFL Network's Jason La Canfora confirmed as much during Sunday's NFL GameDay Morning.

"The interesting thing, there are people in his own locker room that think [a suspension's] called for," La Canfora said.

Does a reported two-game punishment fit the crime? No idea. (Worth noting: CBSSports.com's Mike Freeman warns that, given NFL commissioner Roger Goodell's history of suspending players, we shouldn't expect a huge punishment for Suh.) But if it's to the point where Suh's teammates are fed up, then maybe a stiffer sanction will have a better chance of getting through to him, and in his words, help him "to become a better player, and professional—on and off the field."

You know better than anyone that Redwings is a jerk who thinks he is a tough guy because he can hide behind a computer,

See. I try to ignore you but when you make statements like that I just can't do it... you're impossible to ignore.   I PROVED OVER AND OVER AGAIN WITH QUOTES RIGHT FROM YOU WITH DATES AND TIMES attached to my posts that you have physically threatened and challenged people on these boards for months.  You asked me to meet with you at least 10 times... i finally agreed and you said you would cross the border when you're in Detroit to meet with me..... let me know what day and time.....  OR.... shut up with the "hiding behind the computer crap because the only person that hides is you.

For the , it is me the both of you are talking about, and yes, I said it was immature to do what Redwings1969 did, but I never answered, or sent a private message to you Brian8ball, nor did I ever say that Redwings1969 is "the biggest tool on here". Please dont put words in my mouth.

The both of ya need to just lay this crap to rest and agree to disagree, for real.

Skillet.  I really am sorry I mentioned you in a post to Brian8ball, I wasn't trying to get you involved in this nonesense.  I just got sick and tired of him copying and pasting your post and trying to make me look stupid and trying to make people believe that's all you said.  And by the way i'm not going to bother looking for it but he sure did say that you sent him a private message smashing me... actually he said that at least a couple or a few times.

I'd LOVE to agree to disagree with this clown but he basically hijacks Lions threads and starts crap every single day he can.....

I'm going to do my best though to avoid that turd... once and for all.  Because really, he's just a turd and nothing else....

I am not against you on this one Brian, I said IF he can harness all that aggresssion and us it the right way, he will go down as one of the best ever. Sacks are just not a good stat to look at when judging a DT, you kind of have to see what they do play after play. Suh gets pressure up the middle, that pressure doesnt allow the QB to step up when the DE's come from the outside. I have watched every Lions game this year, and no question, every time Suh is on the field, he dominates. Of course he get his as well, but most of the time Suh will dominate a one on one situation. He gets double teamed and still gets pressure all the time. He is a BEAST, hands down, no question IMO. But he also has a side that is extremely harmfull to the Lions, and he cant fix it in a hurry, then they look to get what they can and move on IMO. I hope this suspension opens his eyes, only time will tell.

Osi is double team has played in 1/2 the games Suh has and has 7 sacks

Osi plays DE, HUGE difference. I am not on the side of Suh in this instance in any way shape or form, I think he should be done for the year, period. At first I thought Detroit should just get rid of him, but he is a dominant force, he has an effect on almost every play, sack or not. If this 2 game suspension doesnt get his head right, then they should strongly consider getting what they can get out of him and parting ways. All the talent in the world wont make up for the type of mistakes he is making. He keeps getting drive extending penalties that keep the defense on the feild, that will hurt a team bad, and he needs to fix it. Hopefully some veterans on the Lions sit him down, smack him upside the head. and teach that the team comes first, ALWAYS. If he can harness all that aggression and use it the right way, he will go down as one of the best ever, if he cant, he will be another coulda, woulda, shoulda.

And, as if it really matters, Fister went 2-1 with a 4.76 era in the 2011 playoffs.
