We probably won't know Ndamukong Suh's fate until Monday or Tuesday, but that doesn't mean it's still not one of the biggest stories of Week 12. Suh, one of the Lions' best players, was ejected from the Thanksgiving Day game against the Packers for stomping on Green Bay guard Evan Dietrich-Smith's arm.

On Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Suh is expected to be suspended for at least two games.

Is Ndamukong Suh dirty?

After the his ejection Thursday, Suh offered up a lame excuse for his actions before apologizing a day later on his Facebook page.

Suh said he's now ready to move on from the incident.

"I want to reiterate my commitment to working to become a better player, and professional—on and off the field. My reaction on Thursday was unacceptable. I made a mistake, and have learned from it. I hope to direct the focus back to the task at hand — by winning," Suh wrote on Facebook.

But it's not enough to just say you're sorry and you're ready to get on with the rest of your life. In addition to how severely the NFL will punish him, there are also concerns in the Lions' locker room about Suh's antics. Specifically, some of his teammates are also tired of it. NFL Network's Jason La Canfora confirmed as much during Sunday's NFL GameDay Morning.

"The interesting thing, there are people in his own locker room that think [a suspension's] called for," La Canfora said.

Does a reported two-game punishment fit the crime? No idea. (Worth noting: CBSSports.com's Mike Freeman warns that, given NFL commissioner Roger Goodell's history of suspending players, we shouldn't expect a huge punishment for Suh.) But if it's to the point where Suh's teammates are fed up, then maybe a stiffer sanction will have a better chance of getting through to him, and in his words, help him "to become a better player, and professional—on and off the field."

I think it's kind of silly to say you wouldn't want him on your team.  Anyone would want him on their team, and besides, how hard is it to nip his problems in the butt?  Not very hard.  Clean it up, or you don't play.  Simple.  It's not like he's totally out of control, all I've heard is how much of a nice person he is when not playing football, there is no reason you cannot tap into that.  This is as much of a failure of Detroit coaches as it is dumb by the part of Suh.  I mean, Swartz even started to defend him, I mean come on.

I had a lions hoody on during Black Friday, had to run out for an errand, and a guy in the line asked me what I thought about Suh's kick.  At that point, I had never seen it, but I have now, and it's obvious it wasn't an accident.  This area is hard working, gritty, and I can tell you that we are not the type to want to win at any cost, so this isn't a culture thing here in Detroit, it's a coach problem.  I like what they're doing, but it appears they are not concerned with discipline.

For a dirty, cheapshot artist I would not want to have on my team, this is well-deserved. I'm guessing he's so dumb he won't get the message.

I would not want him on my team, in what ways has he helped the lions D? yes they are tenth overall but They are the most penalized D in the game, they are 25th against the run, according to nfl.com, he has 20 tackles and only 3 sacks which makes him the 24th best d lineman in the game statistically

Are you kidding me man?  He gets double teamed all game long and even triple teamed at times, almost unheard of for tackles to get that much attention in the NFL.   But because of the attention he gets, he opens things up for everybody else and his teammates get sacks they normally wouldn't get.  The Lions are 7th in the NFL in sacks and pressure the qb like few other teams do all game long. Last year the Lions were 6th in the NFL in sacks.  The year before Suh got here the Lions were 29th in the league in sacks !!!

You mention the Lions against the run, but what about against the pass?  They are something like 6th against the pass and 3rd in yards per play in the NFL against the pass.... Before Suh got to Detroit?  Last against the pass in both yards and yards per play.  And before he got here opposing qb's had a passer rating of 107....  what is that number now?  73 !!!!

Suh is EVERYTHING to the Lions D......  I didn't even mention that with Suh in the lineup against Rodgers last year against Green Bay Rodgers played 6 quarters and was contained very nicely in both games.  On Thanksgiving Rodgers did nothing in the first half with Suh in there but suddenly looked like he was on "easy" playing PS3 in the second half.....

Hate him if you'd like.... but if you doubt how great he is or how important he is, just look at the real numbers and you'll see how wrong you are.

Nothing more dangerous than a 300 pound brat with anger management issues. He really needs major therapy before he ends another player's career. A two game suspension is not enough. He really needs a mental evaluation. But of course he was only trying to catch his balance and the man upstairs knows the truth :). Add habitual liar to the list. Profile of a clinical sociopath. Won't take responsibility for his actions, does not care how his actions may hurt another person, can lie without missing a beat, has an inflated ego, and uses others for his own personal gain.

He asked for a meeting with the commisioner to "clear things up" nd goes out and catches his balance/stomps on a man hahaha he is like a school bully when he gets in front of the principle, trying to cover his own ass no matter how inconcievable the story sounds.. nobody believes he was trying to catch his balance.. so before you get on this website and write your stupid nonsense and try and prove everybody wrong, make sure your not in the minority of people, you jagoff...

2 games and a fine, add that to the $42 thousand and 11 personal fouls he did prior to the T-day game. No tolerance for that conduct in any pro sport~
