New details emerge from Suh's auto accident over the weekend in Portland, Oregon (Getty Images)

Suspended Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was in a one-car accident Saturday in his hometown of Portland, Oregon. Officers on the scene determined that Suh wasn't impaired and "simply lost control of his vehicle." Neither Suh nor the two other passengers in the car were injured according to the report.

Two days later, two passengers in the car told KGW 8 Portland that Suh lied to police about the accident.

Suh's original story to police was that he was trying to pass a taxicab when he lost control of his car. The two passengers now have a different account of what happened.

“When the light turned green, he floored it,” one of the passengers told KGW. “I just remember going so fast and it was violent and just getting thrown around like rag dolls.”

The woman said she sustained injuries in the wreck including a cut on her eyebrow, black eye and a busted lip. Suh, according to reports, was among those who called 911. When he was asked “Are you sure you don’t need an ambulance?” he said, “Yes, everyone is fine.”

More details via KGW:
Yet the female passenger told KGW she did ask Suh to call an ambulance. She said he refused and told her she was fine. She eventually walked down the street and had her husband pick her up and take her to Oregon Health and Science University for treatment.

The woman said nearly 50 people swarmed Suh’s car after the crash and started snapping photos and she felt he was more worried about his image than her injuries.
The amended police report now says that there were four people in the car, not three, and that one person was seriously injured.

Still, authorities told KGW that they have no plans for issuing any citations from the accident. “At no point did anyone there tell an officer that [Suh] was driving out of control,” said Sgt. Pete Simpson. “The crash doesn’t meet our threshold for investigation which is vulnerable road user, DUI, or serious trauma injury.”

Passengers say Suh lied about car accident

Some athletes and some people, I think, believe that rules don't always apply to them and have a feeling of invincibility.  Suh is getting a reputation of not owning up to his actions on and now off the field.  He seems like a stand-up guy at times, but you have to wonder if he's just trying to cover his image, which is getting pretty tarnished this week and season.

Passengers say Suh lied about car accident

So what if the woman was married maybe she was a friend of the family or of someone else in the car. you just can't assume that he's having a relationship with her.
To bad you have to stereotype someone.

Stereotype?  Call it what you want, but there's more to this story then meets the eye fella !!  My wife, who I've been with a very very long time isn't going to hang out with an athlete cruising around at 3am,,,, ever.   And everybody I'm connected to is married and not even one person I know or their wives would do that or would even be allowed to do that..... not a chance.   If Suh was my relative it wouldn't matter.. my wife would have no business at all being in his car driving around at 3am.   It doesn't make sense at all.

Passengers say Suh lied about car accident

Are steroids really necessary to habitually behave like a f***ing idiot? I know plenty of people who do so and are definitely not taking "performance enhancing drugs". I don't see why PEDs have to be a component of every conversation whenever a pro athlete does something stupid. Could it possibly be that many of them are simply over-entitled, self-diluted man-children with too much money and clout to know what to do with?

Also, the lack of actual information on this story is supermarket tabloid worthy. Particularly the part about a married woman riding with Suh during the incident who reported negligent driving. Just enough to imply... a golddigger? A possible smear campaign? One can only guess given the content of this report. Then again, what can you expect when you acquire your information by copying and pasting sources from other bogus reporters.

Passengers say Suh lied about car accident

The body of his makes him a scumbag einstein. Reckless driving and endangering your passengers is pretty damn stupid, but I guess not to you

No no no.  See, if even ONE of his passengers would have told the cops Suh was driving recklessly and endangering their lives it would be a different story.  But the FACT that NOT EVEN ONE said a word but waited until they spoke to spouses, friends and lawyers before saying this might be a little suspicious, don't you think?  Oh wait, not to you because you don't like Suh.... so that means there is a good reason why all of these passengers would simultaneously LIE TO A COP !!!!   Because guess what "einstein", I guarantee you the cop took statements from these people and I guarantee the cop asked how Suh was driving and what happened.  These people told the truth, Suh lost control of the car and that's it.  But after talking to some people after the fact they figured out quick they could make some good money here.....

How can you explain that NOT EVEN ONE of these people told the cop Suh was driving recklessly, but suddenly come out days later???? You can't tell me they were intimidated because the cops would have likely arrested Suh and 100 percent arranged for these people to get home.

Are you that blind? Or maybe that much of a Lions hater??

Lions fan ^...what a shock, and a dumb one at that, but I guess that's to be expected. Perhaps you could take her at her word vs. sticking up for some ghetto punk scumbag. Hard choice when you're myopic.

Right. He's unreasonable because he's a Lions fan but you aren't so you're the man !!!!  Gotcha !!!

It's so wrong to ask why a married woman is cruising around in a car with an NFL football player at 3am.  It's even worse to ask why she didn't tell the police Suh was speeding and driving recklessly.  And she didn't tell the police that Suh refused to call an ambulance for her.

Instead she called her husband who after finding out what happened slapped her in the head and told her to change her story fast, there is good money to be made here.

But yeah, I'm a Lions fan so none of that makes sense.... right !!!

I think you might be the only scumbag on this thread, but thanks for stopping by anyway.   What Suh did on the field was flat out stupid, no doubt about it and he deserved the 2 game suspension the NFL handed out.   But to call him a scumbag because he got into a car accident is almost as stupid as what he did.  And it's not like cops don't charge athletes with dui's or dangerous driving or other things, they do it all the time and we constantly read about it.  If Suh was drunk or high, he would have been charged.  If he was driving that crazy I'm certain the idiots in his car would have told the cops and asked for a ride home.  It would have been on a police report and much easier to sue the insurance company which by the way is the only way these idiots get any money.... won't be from Suh.

I love seeing these little girls get all sensitive.Cry I'm sorry little girl, did I hurt your feelings?Cry Nice to see you support a scumbag like suuuuey! The body of his work makes him a scumbag einstein. Reckless driving and endangering your passengers is pretty damn stupid, but I guess not to you. Btw, I thought you detroit chicks dig hockey and not football....lol

Passengers say Suh lied about car accident

How about blaming Goodell and Shell for this one....if they had not given him an unwarranted suspension he would have been in New Orleans getting ready to chase Drew Brees.  The ejection and a substantial fine were all that was warranted for his incident.  Besides, this woman sounds like she is on crack and wants to file a lawsuit.  She sees dollar signs.
