Eli Manning was sent home from Giants practice Wednesday with what was termed a stomach bug, and for those who worried that the illness had the potential to keep him out of action through Sunday’s NFC title game, the Giants have assuaged your fears.

On Thursday morning, the Giants tweeted the following: "Eli is in the building today and will return to @Giants practice! #ALLIN"

Which is what coach Tom Coughlin predicted Wednesday when he said, “"Hopefully it's a 24-hour deal and he'll be better tomorrow.”

Turns out Manning is, and with Patriots quarterback Tom Brady returning to practice in New England, it seems that all four starting quarterbacks remaining will be available to lead their teams this weekend.

Your star will be Manningham.

Perfect.

Nicks will be held to under 50 yards like last time.

Thats OK..all of our talented receivers cannot gain 100 yards. I will take Nicks last line vs the 9ers 2-41 1TD.

Victor Cruz won't be dancing.

Because Manningham will score all of the TDs like you suggested...I'll take that.

But, Manningham will score because we can't cover everyone.

So far you've provided nothing that would make anyone think your final score will occur...let's see what else you have to say.

49ers are twice as good now as they were in November

Based on??? Seems like you have nothing to back this up with.

... BUT, we did give up two big plays to the Saints... We need to do that.

You gave more than two chief..and if you think you need to do that than you don't know football. carry on.......

You know that crybaby look that Eli gets on his face when he makes a mistake??? You'll see a lot of that

LOL...you mean the look that nothing bothers him. You call it cry baby, I guess thats due to your expirance with a lackluster QB. He is playing better than the bust lable he has had for some time now. I know how Manning plays in big games and I am pretty confident about our chances.

eli is going to have to be healthy if the giants hope to win the game. he is definitely the difference maker. if he is not having a good day throwing, the fenses stack the line and the gians cant make a first down very often. these so called hail marries are happening to often to be an accident. maiining must have a knack for putting the ball in the right placeso it seems miraculous, but it is a well thrown ball so only his receiver knows where the ball will be and goes up and gets it. manning has developed into an excellent quarterback. havint the 265 lb running back is a good weapon to have. somtims he makes a good play. sometimes they block for him.

An ELITE qb and SB MVP such as Eli Manning never has a crybaby look on his face...I don't expect you to know this because you have Alex Smith as your qb.

Manning overcomes stomach bug, back with NYG

quarterback  was back at practice Thursday after missing part of Wednesday’s workout with “a stomach bug.”

Neither Manning nor coach Tom Coughlin was immediately available to say how Manning felt or to discuss his status for Sunday’s NFC title game against the 49ers in San Francisco.

Manning’s inclusion on the Giants’ injury report Wednesday marked for the first time this season that he missed any work.

A trainer helps Eli Manning during the second quarter against the Jets. Manning suffered a big gash to the left side of his temple and was forced to leave the game.

The Giants seemingly were not concerned about Manning’s illness. Guard and close friend  said Manning is the one person of the team who could afford to miss a workout.
