It's true the Reds can ill afford the base running mistakes they made Friday. That game could have easily been a win instead of a loss. Sunday's game is a must win for one reason, to show the Cardinals and the rest of the NL that they can win big series when they have to. If Homer Bailey is on he will be almost unhittable. What the Reds really need is for the big bats to be present and accounted for along with Bailey's pitching. If those pieces fall together the Reds will waltz out of Saint Louis riding high. They need that confidence going into Colorado. The Rockies have been pretty rough on Cincinnati in Colorado. Though i do like the pitching match up's for the Reds against the Rockies. The Reds have to go in to Colorado and certainly do no worse that split the four game series. A perfect series well almost perfect series would have the Reds leaving Colorado with a 3-1 series win. If by chance they happen to sweep the Rockies that would be a big time statement from the Reds to the rest of the league. Well we will see. The Cincinnati Reds of 10 are very resilient, and they do not look like they are going to let up now.
