As we told you in the Shootaround this morning, LeBron James had something to say on Twitter to all his critics of this past summer:

Oooh, I'm so scared! What are you gonna do, use your extremely powerful position as the best player in the NBA and a multi-national business force, not to mention being a physically dominant human being to enact retribution on those that have criticized you?

...

This sounds famliar .

Anyway, not everyone is wetting themselves like I am at the prospect (love you, King!), including SBNation.com's Holly Anderson, who decided to have a little fun with James last night. Anderson posted a series of other (fake) proclamations from LeBron to his critics. My personal favorite?

The watchful eye of King James

LeBron is a bag of wind.  Period.  He talks all this crap, uses all his media resources to blow up his image, yet what has he done in his "illustrious" career thus far?  Been to the finals ONCE?!?  Jordan won his first title 6 years into the league and we see how his career turned out.  So again, I ask, what has this douchebag done to deserve all this hype?  To the media, I simply say, the Heat stacked the deck with 3 perennial All-Stars.  So you might retort with, "Didn't the Celtics do the same?"  Yeah, kinda, but Garnett is at the end of his career more or less and so is Ray Allen.  These 3 are in their prime, but the biggest difference is that you didn't get all the media frenzy around the move to Bean-town.  Stop inflating this dude's ego.  I think most of us average fans WANT to see the Heat fail now as a result.  To LeBron, I hope you take note of this post and write this down:  SHUT UP AND PLAY BALL.  Nobody except Miami fans like you at this point.  Get over it.  If I saw you on the street, I wouldn't ask for your autograph or want my picture with you or anything.  I think you're a chump who has an amazing basketball talent, but you and your entire generation of basketball players are classless.  The "golden" era of basketball was with Jordan, Magic, Bird, Malone, Drexler, Ewing, etc.  Those players had class because they kept their mouths in check.  The only way this neverending "LeBron story" goes away is if we all just ignore it/him and wait for the Heat to either dominate or fail.  I, for one, will continue to cheer for my small market team (Bobcats) and hope that one day they might get lucky enough to EARN a championship!

I'm not sure what to make of this since it hasn't been players that have been making statements.  He can't be talking about average Joe's because really what is he going to do check ID's before signing autographs or giving plain Janes a story of a lifetime where LBJ came out of the bushes during a game of HORSE in the driveway where he stole the ball then jammed it so hard it hit the person in the face and broke their nose before running into the setting sun saying you think I haven't been reading the message boards at CBSsports.  Since every professional sports player except Vince Carter at the end of his Raptors days has given 110% in every game is he claiming that when he plays the CAVS he will not only give an impossible 10% effort but will find an extra 100% never before seen.

He can't be talking about the media since he entered the league he has been a bit of a camera hog with his pre game activities  and I can't remember one question any interviewer has asked that was a hard hitting quality question or a stupid ratings grabbing dumb question.

Here is another example of why it's important to go to college and get a degree. This guy has no intelligence whatsoever. I hope the Heat don't ever win it all

i'm not too sure whether these athletes are milking Twitter and social networks for self-publicity  reasons and whether their managers are telling them what/what not to post online. They always say contreversy sells tickets = $$$

Take Note!

This is exactly what was predicted, that anything she does will have bad connotations to it.  It is Called BAD KARMA!  It will effect you in everything you do. It does not mean you won't be successful, what it means is that everything you do from now on will either be tainted, disrespected or it will be the center of jokes.  You are the story that will never die!

Enjoy!
