LeBron gets heckled and booed in Ohio

LeBron James has been making the rounds lately and he made another stop in his native Ohio recently. This one at an amusement park in Sandusky.

And as you might suspect, some of the onlookers weren't thrilled to see him. When he came out he was booed a bit and then when he started shooting on one of those oversized pop-a-shots, immediately a fan yelled, "I bet you miss!" Then another said, "Shoot with the left; your elbow hurts!"

And then the two best zingers: One fan yelled "It's just like Game 5!" followed by another yelling "Just like the playoffs!"

It didn't help matters that LeBron was something like 2-11 from the field and even airballed one. Some fans did cheer a few makes but for the most part, the crowd was a little restless.

I'm sure the fine people of Ohio have now gotten it all out of their system. When LeBron returns Dec. 2 for his first game back in Cleveland, I'm sure it'll be smooth sailing now. Yep, nothing to worry about now. Move along people.

You should start running your mouth when you win something...not before!  Can you  spell injury?  I hope so because you are not winning anything any time soon.  By the way this should tell you how big of a Lebron fan I am...I never paid to see him play!  Someday you'll get it when it does it to Miami.  Good luck wwith being a front runner you'll need it.

Anyone can buy a winner

Think about what Lebron really lost in this whole situation.  I sure hope a championship "thats not a given" is really worth what he gave up here.  I still think the Lakers, celtics and magic will be better this season.

I dont think it was a dependency. They were proud of their hometown star who left them for another city. I agree that there is no loyalty in sports. He didnt even leave for the money. He left to surround himself with talent for championships? Whats wrong with that? Nothing...but the man's star just doesn shine as bright as it once did.

Dude you had me until you crapped on George. If you knew anything about baseball you would be a fan of George. Unlike your Marlins when you win a world series, George takes his "winnings" and reinvests in the team. What did your owner do? Take his win take all the new fairweather fans $$$ and then sell off his best players.  If you look at the Yankee roster the core players are home grown. Yes we also have A-rod, Tex & CC .. But lets see how the contracts actually got out of hand. Look at A-rods first big contract. It was not from the Yankees it was the clown that owned the Rangers and ran them into the ground. Stick to what you know, the gay drug & crime infested community of little havana.

Dude your thugs have not won $hit yet. There ya go yapping already. Seriously what kind of A-hole has a show on tv to announce where he is going to play basketball? You now have the 3 stooges and I can't wait until the bickering starts and they don't win a thing. Even if they get past the Celtics the Lakers will b8tch slap them back to to that humid stink ass place you call south beach....

You know, I was actually following and somewhat agreeing right up to the pointless bigotry. Not only is it completely 180 degrees from civilized behavior, but it is entirely unrelated to anything you were talking about. Congrats on invalidating yourself.

1st thing Garrett, you did not live through all the deliberation of where am i gonna go, we were willing to give him everything even the key to the new casinos, but, this was planned out years ago by those 3. To keep the city captive for so long waiting and not going after more players is the issue,....Have you ever been held prisoner by a gifted but young punk basketball player.

Yes, we are signing up for a drought here again in Cleveland, but its not us, guys like Michael Jordan and Magic and Larry they stayed loyal to there cities , Lebron now will not be in there class in that aspect.

cleveland rocks...out.

all of you people who think you know cleveland, cleveland sports and what it is like to be a fan in cleveland need to just leave well enough alone.

jose mesa gives away a world series.

john elway takes away trips to the super bowl.

michael jordan shoots away a chance at the winnable finals.

jim chones breaks his foot and the cavs cant go to the finals.

art modell mismanages our team to baltimore and wins a super bowl.

now james leaves.  who cares? let him go.

you talk about curses and how we will never taste a winner.  well, then, leave us alone and let us wallow in our, what you call, self pity.  we root for our teams, win or lose and get criticized nonstop for it.

the fans of cleveland sports teams, the REAL fans of cleveland sports teams, are TRUE fans. we pack browns stadium, barking and cheering for a team that has made the playoffs once since 1999.

the cowboys, yankees and now the may be america's teams, but the browns, indians and cavs are OUR TEAMS!!

leave us alone and let us root for OUR TEAMS.
