We don't really have an official ruling on anything in the NBA until Charles Barkley speaks on it. So after LeBron's tweet about his mental hit list and all the talk coming from Miami, Chuck weighed in on ESPN Radio 103.3 with Galloway and Company.

"I heard about LeBron's little tweet today that he's remembering everybody who said anything bad about him," Barkley said. "And he said 'everybody.' Well, I want him to make sure that he puts my name on that (list) ... I thought that his little one-hour special was a punk move. I thought them dancing around on the stage was a punk move, and I thought he should've stayed in Cleveland. Him joining Dwyane Wade 's team was very disappointing to me."

See, that's why everyone loves Chuck. He tells it like it is, or at least, how he sees how it is. Barkley continued:

"He's got enough people kissing his ass with his family and all the people who work for him," Barkley said. "We don't have to tell him what he wants to hear all the time ... That one-hour special, them jumping around on stage like punks, that wasn't cool to me. From a basketball standpoint, I wish he had stayed in Cleveland, and if he takes that as criticism, so be it."

It's hard to disagree with anything there. Everything turned quickly into a spectacle which only made the new trio in Miami that much easier to dislike. And it doesn't sound as if Chuck is exactly terrified about landing on LeBron's mental list of death. As he put it towards the end of the interview, "He knows where I'll be, I don't run. I'm on TV every week, I'm easy to find."
Exclamation Pt.

Charles Barkley rips Miami's Big 3

Difference is that most "Elite" NBA players try doing it on their own before they get desperate and James is already desperate. It shows alot about how much pain a player is able to take before winning. And James can not handle it like a man.

I think alot of heat fans are really getting their knickers in a twist over this for no reason.  No one is dissing LeBron for joining Miami(at least im not) Do i think it was a little on the cheap side, sure.  But its his career, whatever.  What I dont like is his one hour show on espn dubbed the desicion and now that people are realizing who queen james really is they are calling him out and now hes making some mental hitlist?  haha, please lebron.  If the heat win the title this season it will be more because of D-wade than Lebron.  I had no issue with james until all this started.  Its really sad to watch someone so in love with themselves act a fool in front of the entire sports world.

Exactly. Very well said. It was the cowardly, selfish, immature act of a spoiled punk. He's been coddled and given the superstar treatment since he was old enough to hold a basketball. And he spat on the city that loved and adored him. Instead of telling the Cavs owner gilbert that he intended to play for Miami, he purposely held them hostage(along with several other teams) by telling them they are in the running and he's considering them, etc. And then the egomaniac rented airtime on a major sports network to have his ego fed and to publically humiliate Cleveland and the fans that loved him. And THEN, he and his two fellow chumps danced around onstage as though they automatically had locked up 6 titles !

Now, to top it off, "Sissyboy" is making a mental hit list of everyone who talks bad about him, as if he has the power to send them to hell or something ! Grow up punk ! You're a coward and a loser. IF you manage to HELP win any NBA titles in Miami, you will never be viewed as anything more than a chump who ran from the team where you were the main man to a team where you are just another cog in the machine !

Oh, and this is the same loser who refuses to shake the opponents' hand when his punk tail gets beaten ! Barkley is 100% right about you King Zero !

sacrifices? Kills me to hear it anymore.....

Worst prt of this deal is the dumb a$$es have the nerve to tell the world that they have all 3 made big sacrifices to make this work.  Are you kidding me?  This is why they're all a joke, and I hope all 3 rip out their knees  and end their careers.......they still get their money because the NBA is sad, and the HEAT will have to pay it.  Call it sweet victory for all who have had to listen to this.  No I don't feel bad for saying this, they will have the money, and their legacies are already tarsnished so no point in worrying about that.

Chuck left at the end of his carrer not the middle. its different when ur from a city u play for the fans expect more from you like they did lebron. i didnt see anyone on here bashig mike jordan when he said he didnt like the move.  someone put a check list up of all his good doings in the league..  but u forgot the fact that lebron went to the championship finals and lost with a bumb ass team and has had a better team year after year and cant make it to the finals again.. also where is his ring at?  kobe had 3 already at this point in his career. how do u help fix your neighbors roof when urs is still leaking? thats what he did.. hey dwayne.. um i see ur team sux like mine.. instead of working harder and making the clutch shots that i miss u know what let me move my whole family to miami thats lived in akron ohio there whole lives and hold a 1 hour special about nothing.... yeah i loved lebron til i found out how much of a pussy he was.. then again if my mom was having sex with teammates then i guess i would leave.. this is the same guy by the way that said on espn that he loved the city so much if the browns needed him he would play!! so let me guess he might help the dolphins? he is a nut.. i am still waiting for what jay Z has to say about it.. no one ripped KG cause he played on the worst team in the nba his whole career that did nothing to help him win a chip.. Karl malone also did many things for utah but couldnt get over the hump and waited what 12 years to leave? no one said nothing about jordan playing for the wizards.. lebron is a spoiled brat.. the kid was handed a 100million dollar contract for nike with out ever playing a game. his whole family and friends worked with the cavs.. if his balls swet to much he has someone there to wipe them down.. NBA is more like WWE without the juice..

The difference between kg and Charles is that they both was towards the end of their career. What most people have a problem with is Lebron taking so much time to say he was going to Miami. If James would have said from the beginning he was going to Miami, Fans and Teams wouldn't have cared. Also, Teams would have been more active in free agency and there would been totally different look to the season because teams missed out on other players.

For those that believe he took less money and that the profits from the "Decision" went to charity, stop being naive.  James owns CAA who these 3 stars signed with.  The profits from the Decision were a tax right off.

So LeBron is at it again being spineless.  Why not just name those people instead of trying to be all cloak and dagger?!

Charles Barkley rips Miami's Big 3

Now let me see.  Are you saying that because Charles Barkley has ONE DUI that he is guilty of DUIs?  I'm only aware of one DUI.  Are you saying anyone guilty of a DUI is disqualified from practicing their profession?  I know a doctor and a judge who are guilty of DUI and who both practice their professions still.  Or are you saying he is permitted to practice his profession but, due to his DUI, not permitted to criticize THE ONE?  It is no wonder that a person capable of such deep incisive thinking would be a gigantic Lebron fan.

Charles Barkley rips Miami's Big 3

For those who are comparing Lebron's move to Miami to Barkley's move to Houston, the one big difference is that Barkley didn't go to Houston and play second fiddle. He was "the man" in Houston just like he was in Philly. Barkley didn't punk out like Lebron did after choking in the playoffs against Boston. Lebron realized he couldn't carry a team to the championship despite the fact they had the best record in the league during the regular season. Therefore he decided to play it safe and move to a team (Wade's team) that already has 2 other stars on it. Yes, he had every right to do this as he was a free agent, but just like Barkley said, it was a "punk" move. The bottom line is that Lebron did not live up to his own hype (and the media's hype as well) and made the "Decision" to take the easy road.
