Charles Barkley rips Miami's Big 3

We don't really have an official ruling on anything in the NBA until Charles Barkley speaks on it. So after LeBron's tweet about his mental hit list and all the talk coming from Miami, Chuck weighed in on ESPN Radio 103.3 with Galloway and Company.

"I heard about LeBron's little tweet today that he's remembering everybody who said anything bad about him," Barkley said. "And he said 'everybody.' Well, I want him to make sure that he puts my name on that (list) ... I thought that his little one-hour special was a punk move. I thought them dancing around on the stage was a punk move, and I thought he should've stayed in Cleveland. Him joining Dwyane Wade 's team was very disappointing to me."

See, that's why everyone loves Chuck. He tells it like it is, or at least, how he sees how it is. Barkley continued:

"He's got enough people kissing his ass with his family and all the people who work for him," Barkley said. "We don't have to tell him what he wants to hear all the time ... That one-hour special, them jumping around on stage like punks, that wasn't cool to me. From a basketball standpoint, I wish he had stayed in Cleveland, and if he takes that as criticism, so be it."

It's hard to disagree with anything there. Everything turned quickly into a spectacle which only made the new trio in Miami that much easier to dislike. And it doesn't sound as if Chuck is exactly terrified about landing on LeBron's mental list of death. As he put it towards the end of the interview, "He knows where I'll be, I don't run. I'm on TV every week, I'm easy to find."

I agree. And for all of those who say Barkley should look in the morror. He does. He has always been the first to admit his mistakes.

We have all made mistakes. Sometimes bad ones. That's not what's in question here.

Barkley is pointing out that LBJ is an immature egomaniac.

And, Barkely joining the Rockets / Malone joining the Lakers, etc. So, so different...  They were at the twilight of their careers. LBJ is at his peak, as is Wade, as is Bosh...

A better comparison to Barkley joining the Rockets would be Shaq joining the Celtics. End of career / role player at this point...

There's a Chair in the Ring !!!

There's been a couple of refferences to pro wrestling and the NBA. No kidding. There one of the same now, and have been going that way for quite sometime now. The earliest example that comes to mind happens to be Barkley himself, holding the ball for 23 seconds waiting for a whistle. That's not basketball is it. Like wrestiling, we have proven that that referee cheats, like he's suppose to. Like wrestling, the referee over animates his call to get the crowd fired up, like he's suppose to. Like wrestling the referee" makes up" hand gestures to "prove" he's calling what he "saw". Like wrestling the coach / manager over reacts to every call and runs on the court / throws a chair in the ring. Light show, noise and movie before the game / match ... check, check, check. Winner pre determined, usually a check. Usually ='s more important games. Players going from one team to another, ='s wrestlers going form good side to bad. Both are a waste of mone, some already know this. Buying an NBA ticket ='s paying for RAW. It's over used, but the last 5 minutes are the only ones you need to watch. The players must know this too, otherwise they'de give the same effort through out the game.

Double redonkulous if you ask me.

Aren't we supposed to cheer the professional athletes who want to win, over wanting the most money? No words truer said skelly812. This is something people (mostly media) are overlooking. They want to tell you how terrible athletes are because they want the most money, but here we have the opposite. LeBron James could have made more money in Cleveland but he wants to win. The media loves to bash players who hold out of their contracts saying how selfish they are because they want all this money, then we see LeBron, Chris Bosh, and Dwayne Wade all take pay cuts in order to play on the same team. I think the real hero is D-Wade taking a cut and now making the least of the big 3 just to have a team they believe is championship ready.

LeBron has become a running joke.  From him inexplicably intervening to control a video of some kid dunking on him to his fixation on seeking out anyone who has anything negative to say about him.

Laddin ... u r so mistaken

Sorry, but how is a washed-up star at the END OF HIS CAREER the same as one of the best (IF NOT THE BEST) in the league the same?  Barkley was DONE when he went to Houston ... last ditch effort to win one b4 retiring.  LeBron is in the prime of his career!!  He showed his true colors that were protected and masked in Cleveland.  He is NOT an alpha male ... nobody who is would do what he did.  Magic and Isaiah were super close ... did they want to play together?  Sorry ... it is something alpha dogs don't do.

People in Cleveland are NOT bitter bc he left ... it is the manner he did it in.  You have no idea how much has been covered up for this a$$h**e!  Our owner BENT OVER BACKWARDS for him, his family and his hood-rat clan.  Christ, he built a $29 MILLION DOLLAR FACILITY near LeQuits home to his likings ... THAT WAS BC OF HIM COMPLAINING!  The Cleveland media hid his strawberry momma's activities for years!  She is a trashy slut that hit the lottery ticket via pregnancy.  PURE GHETTO.  Dan Gilbert did so much to accomodate him it is truely sick.  We are soooo desperate for a title we turned a blind eye.

He screwed the organization bc of his ego ...period.  Had he come to Gilbert b4 end of season to tell of his intentions the Cavs could've set the organization in place better.  A call from one of his mentally challenged thugs 2 minutes b4 air-time is a main reason why Clevelanders are irrate.  Dan Gilbert deserved to know asap and Mrs. Wade needed to make that call.  He owed him that and the Cavs fans.  Every man has a right to better himself and his family.  It is not the departure ... it is how he did it.

The Decision was such a slap in the face ... it was so disgraceful.  It goes to show you what kind of idiots he has in his marketing firm!  No professional agent worth any salt would have gone through with that!.

So Laddin and all the other bandwagon Miami fans ... get your facts straight.  What that punk did is unprecedented.

Barkley hit it on the head ... he is a punk and his mom is a ho.

BTW ... the Delonte rumor is NO RUMOR.  I personally know a close friend of Gloria 'Strawberry' James who said yes ... it is 100% true.  Very very reliable source.  It isn't the reason for the game 5 debacle though ... that was a pouting baby simply quitting.
