UPDATE: Via John Schuhmann of NBA.com, the game has been officially postponed.

But not because of ice. No, the ice was still down just because there was another issue - asbestos. Apparently, some asbestos related material fell out of the attic during cleaning Monday. So it wasn't a court issue, just a deadly biohazard one. What a relief, huh?

Maybe Marcin Gortat knew what he was talking about when he said New York was a "dirty, dirty" place.

Multiple outlets are reporting that there's an issue at Madison Square Garden with getting the hardwood floor put down over the ice that was in place for a New York Rangers game last night.

As a result, tonight's Magic-Knicks game could very well be postponed. As of right now, the "floor" is still ice. The issue that is causing the delay is unknown. This wouldn't be the first time the Magic were unable to play a game because of ice. They already had a preseason game against the Heat canceled because of a slippery floor caused by the ice underneath.

The game might be postponed but nothing has been made official as of now. Though who wouldn't wanted to see Mike D'Antoni's "seven sconds or less" offense on ice? Wouldn't that be fun?

Yes, i do watch Knicks games, and being a "sell out" does not mean the crowd is packed. You can see splatters of empty seats nightly. Don't know what games you watch, but you must think there are some really devoted fans, and there isn't, not in years.

Why a crowd of 10 people? The Knicks sell out nearly every game and their arena is basically packed night in and night out? Have you ever watched a Knicks game at all?

And to the guy who said the players, since they're millionaires, should suck it up. It has nothing to do with being millionaires or not. They're not the ones who took the decision not to play. And it's dangerous for the fans, too. So the millionaires argument has absolutely nothing to do with anything.

Why people are so clueless?

Asshole. Overpaid or not, asbestos is not something to be messed with, especially when you have a crowd of 10,00... err, well 10 people.
