If you're not sick of LeBron's "What Should I Do?" commercial you either don't own a television or you're LeBron's mother. When it first came out, everyone was blown away by it. It was spot on, delivered a huge message and was really the first step in LeBron rehabilitating his tattered public image post-Decision.

But with a little oversaturation and some time to really think on it, LeBron's commercial has taken a bit of a beating. Cleveland residents put together their answer for LeBron. South Park spoofed it. And now, through a fan made mash-up, Hir Airness has lobbed a response.

Everyone seems to be accepting this as a real commercial for Jumpman, but it just feels like an excellent edit job from an enterprising fan. But that could be wrong. I'm sure we'll find out soon enough. Regardless, it's strong. (UPDATE: It's a fan made video for sure.)

If it were the real deal, I think LeBron might curl up in a little ball and cry for a few hours over this one. He reveres M.J. and for Jordan to throw a punch through a commercial says a whole lot. In the end, it's all about Nike trying to sell a few more sneakers, but there's a message here and it's pretty darn clear.

Did some idiot really imply that Michael Jordan was a fraud that couldn't compete in the 80's.  You know why he said maybe it's my fault cause you only think I hit game winners?  Thats cause the man only hit game winners.  I have loved the Cavs since Price, Daugherty, Nance, and Williams...survived the Shawn Kemp and Ricky Davis years, and rejoiced in the LeBron era....but I would always turn the TV n for the Bulls and hope that Jordan would do something great.  In my mind, he always did.
LeBron made a mistake in how he made this decision.  LeBron made a mistake in going to the Heat.  His legend is now flawed. And nothing makes me happier than Michael F-ing Jordan having our back.

Fact or Fiction?

I sense the bitterness in the voices of , commenting that he didn't do what he said he would.  Things aren't happenning the way Cleveland would have liked.  I do not pass judgement on Cav's fans, and I can imagine the feeling as though a rug had been pulled out from under their Nike shoes.

We tend to forget that is an individual human being, and not just the subject of forums, articles, headlines and basketball conversations.

I believe that to truly understand LeBron, you might first begin by watching a documentary on St. Vincent - St. Mary High School basketball called "".  LeBron had success with a pre-assembled team that became the best in the country.  I recently watched this film and began to draw parallels to what happened over this offseason.  I also gained a greater understanding of LeBron's drive to win and his means of playing basketbal as a means of escaping personal deamons.

has a history that we speak of in terms of greatness and some use the word "legendary".  LeBron James has a future that we speculate about in terms of potential and use the phrase "the next".

Fans will continue to make videos and people will continue to debate about LeBron's place in the history of this game.  Writers will continue to talk about statistics and the Heat's expectations.  Everyone will keep hearing more repetitions of "what should I do".  All of this will continue to occur until history makes its judgement about what LeBron should or shouldn't have done.

If you haven't seen , It is a great perspective on several issues.  If you can hang on until the end of the interview, and your perception of a player's place in history doesn't change you should listen more carefully.  Basically says that after being overlooked by people who made these determinations about who is the best player, he decided that winning was what he would focus on.  He essentially stated that after winning 11 Championships, there is no debating or aguing about that.  It is just a fact.

LeBron now has the opportunity to make some "facts".  After all the opinions and speculation, in the end we are always left with the facts.  Those don't change.

What a great video!!!    Says it all.   Jordan is the best ever!    Real champions bring titles to their towns and don't have to chase them.    Jordan brought Chicago title and if you look at 90% of the greats in the game, so did they.    Lebron is chasing titles instead of earning them and even if he wins 10 titles, he should not even be in the same discussion as Jordan.
Also, this is from a Denver Nuggets fan!!

This video is great. I remember the 80's Celtic's, Detriot's Bad Boys, Showtime Lakers, and Olajuwon's Rockets. These were all great teams, but not as good as Jordan's Bulls. Even Magic Johnson and Larry Bird will tell you that there was nobody better than Jordan, not then, not now. I find it funny when people mention LeBrick's name in the same breath as any of the game's past superstars. Those teams (and guys) above won championships. What has LeBron won-highest number of shoes sold last year? LeBron is nothing more than a poor mans version of Dominque Wilkins. Sure he's a human highlight film, but when the game/season/playoff series is  on the line, the only certainty is that LeBron James will be able to clean his locker out and talk about "next year."

Do you think if back in the days Larry Bird's Celtics or Magic's :akers team had whipped Jordan as bad as Boston did LeBron last season, that Jordan would have come out the next year jumping around, dancing, a** grabbing, like a bunch of jr high students being introduced at the 8th grade dance? Nah, I think he would been in the gym all summer and returned the following year and.......

Figure that nike is running with this huge but if some of this that mj says is from the heart, amen.Michael gave up on the bulls when the bulls gave up on him.Not only was he a champs(in every aspect of the game) he was a loyal champ.Something you cant put a price tag on.Michael didnt need a news conference to make himself more important than he was.All he needed to do is hold up his hands with the rings on it .Lebron might break a lot of mj s records. But at the end of the day can he put his shoes in the locker without wondering was it worth it .

This video is pure gold. The fan that made this is spot freaking on. I'm sure Jordan, while he would never endorse it, got a huge kick out of it knowing his legacy hasn't been forgotten after all these years. The Truth must hurt Lebron.
