Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant was ejected during the fourth quarter of a Tuesday night home loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. Posted by Ben Golliver

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant let his frustration boil over during the final minutes of a disappointing and surprising 98-79 home loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night.  After Milwaukee's microscopic point guard, Earl Boykins, hit a three-pointer to put the Bucks up 92-77 with a little more than two minutes to play, Bryant pushed the ball in transition, hoping to get a quick hoop. Bryant drove to the basket from the right side, but lost the ball on the way up and ran over Bucks center Andrew Bogut. Bogut appeared to be straddling the protected circle line, however the baseline official immediately whistled for a charging foul on Bryant.  Bryant responded by stomping over Bogut without touching him, and turning to the official to exchange some words as he walked back down the court. Whatever Bryant said was clearly not fit to print, because he was immediately whistled for a technical foul.  As Bryant continued to walk down the court, clearly heated, he turned to another official, standing near halfcourt, and appeared to shout a very popular obscenity while gesturing. Bryant was assessed a second technical in short order and continued to walk directly off the court and into the Lakers' locker room. Here's video of the incident. The loss drops the Lakers to 21-8 on the season, still good for first place in the Pacific Division. With the win, the Bucks improve to 11-16, and remain in third place in the Central Division.

I agree. He's getting to be like a combination of a grumpy old man and a diva. Remember that 3 years ago, Kobe campaigned for a trade, feeling like the roster at that time was not worthy of a championship run. Lo and behold, the Memphis Grizzlies step forward with a mysterious and dubious trade; Pau Gasol for a second round pick. Instantly, the Lakers were much better and Kobe stopped whining. Kobe should send a thank you letter and check to the Grizzlies brass every time his Lakers make the playoff and win a title. It was pure underhanded thievery that the Lakers got Gasol and many NBA GM's cried foul at the time. Can the Heat get Brooke Lopez for a 2nd round pick?

But his whining on the court continues. He appears to think that he is foul-proof, that no referee in his right mind would call a foul on him. He still is a ball hog at times and still takes too many bad shots. He is a competitor, though. I'll give him that much. Let's hope that the refs stay true to the foul-calling through to the NBA playoffs and not let the big-ego self-righteous stars, like Kobe, dictate what is being called.

If you would have watched the 30 seconds before this video you would have seen the exact same play where Kobe drives and runs over Bogut where the referee gives Bogut a foul.  They both should have been charges.  Kobe is one of the biggest cry babies in the game.  I think there should be more calls against some of theses "stars."  Seriously, Kobe has talent.  He is clutch.  He can be a one-man team and can take over a game but he scored a lot of his points on free throws and in many cases gets calls he shouldn't.  I could score 15-20 points a game if I shot 25-30 times and got phantom fouls called in my favor too.  I would give myself more points but I don't want to be unrealistic.  I am only 5 ft 9 in.  LOL

Actually, Kobe has acted like a jerk for years.....but until recently, the refs have looked the other way (as well as the public).....

Kobe has always played like a big baby.  If somebody can actually guard him  i.e. Desmond Mason, Tony Allen - kobe pitches an absolute fit.

He is the typical example of a man who never had to grow up....

I agree with an earlier post that Coach Jackson should have had him out of the game.  Looks like Bryant took matters into his own hands and let the officials send him home.
Also, why don't these guys get limo drivers to take them to the arena?  Who the heck wants to be driving in LA traffic at any time of day?
